Wow,this is some good stuff,great job Behind the Panel,keep'em coming!!! Loved Bill's run on both Moon Knight and the New Mutants,he has a very distintive art style.Bob McLeod 's run on New Mutants was great also,have to pick up back-issues on their runs!!!! Need some good comics reading,haven't bought any of the current stuff in years.

Are we ever gonna see that New Mutants movie? We'll never know 😂

i hated it with all my heart, but i was like 12, i didn't understand. i still collected them anyways cause i loved the characters.

Bill did drew 2 Uncanny X-men issues before the new mutants, 1 regular which Uncanny X-men 159 fight Dracula with Storm almost turn to Vamprism and a sequel to that story in King Size X-men 6 which resolved the Dracula plot.

I was hoping that they would've made a more direct take on the Demon Bear story with the ER and people like Corsi getting transformed. When reality shifts into a spirtverse, they could've switched the visuals to animation mirroring Sienkiewicz's style.

Why shouldnt he be. The guy is still being honored and appreciated 30 years later after that iconic run.

I seriously worshiped this guy after New Mutants appeared. I started to follow his work during Moon Knight, but the New Mutants really got to me. One of the greats.

90's comics were so good. What happened Marvel?

New Mutants, awesome! Just not a fan of this particular art style. The demon bear storyline was well done, but his art made it very difficult to follow. It was / is just too abstract and undefined. It reminds me of the blurry style of Picasso ... great, but hard too sloppy for my tastes.
