Don’t call it a Charcuterie Board. It’s a Meat Board. Thank you David Picciuto (Make Something) for writing “Make your Own Cutting Boards” book. I used it for inspiration for my first board. Cutting Boards or Charcuterie Boards are kind of a right of passage for wood workers and in this video I show you how I made my first cutting board/charcuterie board. Only, I’m not a fancy type of guy so Charcuterie Board just seemed way to fancy so I’m calling mine a Meat Board. I hope you enjoy my little homage to Kung Fu as well. This Charcuterie / Cutting Board is made out of Alder and Maple.

Nice gift! I didn't realize you had a laser engraver. I thought about buying one to add to my 3D printer, but I just don't use it enough to justify. Happy New Year!

The laser engraver is a lot of fun. I have the Ortur which is pretty affordable. Even laser engraved designs on your pumpkin pie fire Thanksgiving.
I am impressed with the board for meat and am anxious to further follow your ways and hear tales of your woodworking, Dung Beetle.

That's a beautiful looking board Dale, I made my first Oak end grain board before Christmas, just waiting on the mineral oil to be delivered to finish it, thank you for the tip on soaking the board in an oil bath, take care.

Came out fantastic, qq do you notice a difference in the burn detail quality of the laser engraver before vs after oil?
