I have the Huskys in one truck and the Weather Tech in the other. The Huskys lay way better than The Weather Tech, especially around the corners and edges. They fit pretty tight too. Have to tuck them under the edges of the seat legs

agreed! my brother put a set of WT in his old Tahoe while I had a set of Husky liners in my '00 F250 ... his curled like a Taco in the Texas heat and would actually get bad enough to prevent pedal operation. WT told him to turn 'em upside down and step on them a few times. 100% Husky for me from that point on. haha. I will say that the ones A-rod just put in look to be nicer quality and more on par with the stiffness and fit of the Huskys

The hp are heads above the original weathertech imho.

So glad you made this video! I was contemplating which line to get for my inbound ‘22 Super Duty! I just shot a video on my wife’s Weathertech HPs in her 2022 Subaru Forester. I agree that they lay way better than the original floor liners. The higher rubber content really makes a substantial difference. I did notice that on some models they don’t have as much coverage, but it’s a small trade off.

I have a set of Husky liners. I had them on my 17 and I moved them to my 21 when it was delivered. Had them since May of 18 and they still look and fit like new.

I run Rough Country and love them, you're channel is fantastic and I've learned a ton from you....thanks!

Fortunately, I live near the WeatherTech factory outlet. Great deals and get to see them before buying. The HP's aren't much more expensive than the standard floor liners. I've been running WeatherTech's for years, and never had an issue. I do liked the older style thick rubber, deep groove ones better though. Too bad they stopped making that style.

My wife and I have used Weather Tech. She drives a 2015 Escape and I have used them in a 2011 & 2015 F150s. What we found was that Weather Tech fronts fit well but everywhere else they fit terrible and are somewhat slippery. We replaced my wife's mats with Smart Liner brand and she loves them. When I ordered my 2021 F350 Super Duty, I ordered it with the rubber floor mats that ford offers and I found them to be much superior to Weather Tech. I WILL say your HP mats look pretty nice as well. I have never seen that variation before.

Thanks for your review and absolutely helpful content. I'm sorry that I have not gotten back to you A-Rod. I decided to liquidate my 2020 F-350 and order a 2022 F-350 by year end. On December 1st 2020 my Weathertech 4410321V-446975 laser-measured liners for over the hump front and rear F-350 Supercab vinyl floor arrived. The HP Liners are still not available for this truck. They fit pretty darn good though my left leg has some dexterity issues and sometimes drags over the corner of the driver's mat while climbing into my 7' tall truck. I've spilled sodas, chili and a 1/4 of an 80lb bag of concrete with thankfully all were easy clean ups thanks to Weathertech. I feel good about buying US made products.

Got the HPs for my tremor when I first got the truck. No complains, fits just like your new ones.

I purchased the Husky liners...seem similar to your HP style. Super pleased with the Husky brand.

I ordered Ford super duty mats for my new 2022 F-250 that has just shipped from Kentucky. I’ve been loyal to Weather tech since then came out but I live in the south now and not in the north east (so no more mud and snow) and with their quality that has been slowing deteriorating I figured I would support the brand! super Duty! Givem a try…

Ive got the hp ones in my f350. I love them like the fit and they stay in place. Never had issue with them moving.

I agree with. All Weathertechs I have had all had issues with the edges. They don't look great after awhile either. Weathertechs are good, but they need improvement. I'll get the HPs for my new truck. Hopefully they're better.

Well I contacted weather tech and they sent me the HPs. I will just return the regulars. The HP fit much better and are heavier so the passenger side doesn't slid around like the regulars did. Thanks for making the video! Just wish I would have seen it a week earlier.

Husky contour are amazing no complaints. I did buy the weather tech mud flaps and no more random splatter on my door with my stock tires. It was getting annoying wash my truck drive a few miles and there was stuff on my door.

Same as Vince, put the WeatherTech HP in my F250 Tremor and they still look like new. Way better than the older style.

Weather Tech front/rears came with my 2017 F350 when i purchased it (used) 2 years ago , which appear to be of HP quality. I've had Husky's in the past and as others stated, they seem a bit more thicker material and form fitted. I have Husky's in the Yukon and although the older base variant (nubby's on bottom), those are thicker as opposed to my F350 WT's.

I know this video is a year old but I recently purchased new car and was looking at weather tech until I saw a video reviewing best floor mats and saw multiple people praising TuxMat…you guys should check them out…they look really nice and conform better to interior of car because they include clips if needed.

Glad I watched video, I have the weathertech in the shopping cart for the navigator, I am re-thinking now, maybe 3dmaxpider. Yep my superduty weathertech mats are like yours. I didn't realize how flimsy they are. I will be looking for a upgrade now.

Purchased the factory mats after always using weathertech and very happy with factory.

I currently have Husky in my 2020. I like the fronts but not the rear Husky. I will check out the HPs. Thanks ARod.

I've had Husky floor liners in my 17' since I bought it. they're great.

The new HP mats are an attempt by WeatherTech to mimic the Husky X-Act mats. They are softer, more pliable, and are SUPPOSED TO contour to your interior since they are softer. BUT....I had the Huskys and they curled up over the door sills. Nothing that I did would straighten them out. I tried soaking them in really hot water and and bending them the opposite way. That worked for about a week. I think I am just going to get some small carpets at the dollar store like I did in the '70s. For the price of a set of WeatherTechs, I can buy enough of those to last a lifetime.

Used to run with the wethertech mats on my previous vehicles and was sold on the Ford contour floor mats. They stay put unlike the weathertechs. I think they didn't have the newer line that you were showing at the time. Plus, they are thicker and more flexible. Also, you can wash em easier. My weathertechs always had dirt/ mud residue after I washed em unless you use some sort of shine type of product. Didn't like that.

Those HP look nice. I’m rocking Husky and they are nice, look very similar to the HP you installed.

I went with the HP’s as well. They’re just sitting in their box in the garage waiting for my truck to get here!!! Lol The dealer says not much longer…should hit the lot between 11/4 and 11/10.

Husky mats because at the time weathertech didn't have anything for the backseat. But I did put on weathertech mud flaps. Nice mats in the video!

Had the same issue with wt on my '06 f350 went to husky & I stayed with husky on my '18 f350 very good!!

I went to my dealer and asked if the OEMs were as good as weather tech. He told me he believed they were. I wish I had seen this before I purchased them. They are not in the same league. I was going to go with the Husky"s. Which I had. I had a Ram with their factory mats and was pleased with them. The fords are not the same quality. 22 F250 Lariet. Thanks

Another vote for the Husky Xacts. I’ve had 2 pair of weathertechs and think they’re great, but bought husky Xacts for my super duty and they’re superior IMO. The weathertechs come up higher on the sides than the Xacts in case you get a ton of liquid on them, but I don’t see that being a huge issue honestly. My buddy who is a park ranger and ALWAYS has a ton of dirt and mud on his boots put them in his truck after seeing mine and also likes them more than his old weathertechs.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I don’t know that I’d switch. My wife’s SUV has them and we’re happy with them. But when I have to buy floor liners again, I’ll go with the husky’s from now on. I like them better, but not enough to shell out more money to replace weathertechs lol.

I have the ones that you took out and replaced with the HPs. The ones I have are crap there is a 4 inch gap near the deadman’s pedal.

Dude! Now you do this video! I just bought the non HP last week. I was going back and forth trying to figure out which one and went with the regular because from what I could read it was firmer plastic. Not happy with the way they fit and the passenger side of my truck doesn't have the floor clips in the carpet to hold in place. I was thinking about contacting weather tech tomorrow after watching your video and see what they will do.

You should check out the ford all weather floor mats. They are more of a thick rubberized that conform To the carpet. Got these on our personal truck as I don’t like the plastic feel of the weather tech.

We got a 2012 about 3 months ago and it had husky and they fit like crap. Got the Ford OEM carpet mats, but now that it's wet I nearly ordered the WeatherTech HP yesterday. Guess I'm not gonna wait any longer - I just wish I could drop in some carpet inserts.

I went with husky and have been very pleased with them.

I have weather tech floor mats and I’m having problems with the back mat folding when the door closes. I was thinking double sided tape.

I have the heavy weather Tech mates. Never had a problem

HP are the only ones we use. Works great in Ram Ford and Jeep!!

My Mustang didn't have the snap clips on the passenger side so I found the part number bought some and install them myself.

Bought some knock offs called "Max liner" they are great and I saved a few bucks. The quality was as good as the Weathertech HPs.

Aaron, I got the Ford mats with my 2021 and so far I like them. I believe I have the HP in the 2018 F150. They are weathertech for sure and really like them. I see the difference you are pointing out. What is the difference in price?

I have the exact same truck, sold my 19 now have a 22 kept my 19 Ford floor mats, they are way better than the weather tax much stiffer as my wife has WeatherTech’s in her vehicle. Just by the Ford floor mats

Got the old style in my truck. My rear passenger side flopped over a month or so ago.. I’m pretty disappointed with them.

I have the Weathertech floor mats in my 2011 350. They seem to work just fine. The HP version isn’t available for the 2011 model.

Always order my trucks with factory floor mats, no issues so far

Did factory vinyl floors. Best decision I ever made….

Place them in direct sun for about 20-30 min and immediately place in the truck and they will perfectly form to your truck

Not sure what Im missing, but your initial big concern was with the edges folding over. I share that same concern. Every car/truck I have ever been in with WeatherTech mats has the same problem. You imply in this video that the HP version solves that problem. However, rewatching this video confirms that the edges still dont sit tightly on the side sills. The "folding over" you previously experienced is probably because when the door was closed and the mat wasnt sitting flush on the sill, the door rolled the mat over. In time, it stayed that way. Im not convinced the HP version would be any different unless somehow it lays flatter after it gets settled in or maybe if you heat with a heat gun. Not sure why WeatherTech doesnt see this as a liability. I have an elderly parent who struggles getting in and out of my truck as it is. Tripping on the edge of a Matt is something I am very concerned about.

I got the Ford Super Duty ones with my Ford points. I'm happy with them. They seem to be thicker than a buddie's Weathertechs.

I have the factory mats in my 2020 at f350 , I don’t like that they do not cover under the gas pedal like the weather tech or Huskies do

Ford mats I’m my truck. I’ve had Weather Techs in the past. Good mats but the plastic can fold up on the edges. The versions with the hard plastic can do it to but a heat gun will allow you to remold them. Husky mats do similar things from what I’ve seen in fleet trucks.

You can use the corse side of some Velcro to keep the passenger side mats from sliding around.

I have regular Weathertech mats in my wife's 4Runner, and has the exact same floppy issues. Sides are curled up and hit feet as the passenger gets in. I need to swap!

Hey ARod love the vids brotha! I'll take those WeatherTech's of your hands. I bought some cheap Motor Trends for my 19' Super Duty and the fit is not great even after some trimming. Plus they stink up the interior when warm out. Lemme know

Switched to husky , better fit and the flexible thick rubber doesn’t curl up , I have a 2017 f350

I have the husky ones on my 2016 6.7 they are not as stiff as the weather tech ones I really like them better

Just three weeks I tried two models of Weathertech’s in my 2019 F350. Every mat except the passenger side fit like a glove. I went thru he’ll trying to return then. But they paid for all the shipping. They claim to be laser measured, false advertising. I now have Husky’s in the front.

I have same problem with the passenger side WTs, I tried reheating and taping down still a problem.

My truck came with the husky ones when I bought it.

Factory aall weather mats. AROD ya need the superduty stamp down the side of the mats

The reason I changed to Husky is because the Weather Tech’s didn’t seem to fit in the back. They seemed to be to wide between the center console & under seat storage.

Had weather tech all my life in everything, when I got my 2019 f250, I tried Huskies, never will buy weather tech again

Made me change my mind about their floor mats, I even got their wheel well liners in the rear, at the time they were $35 cheaper than Fords

Not 1 single problem

I’ve had 4-5 sets of WeatherTech and everyone curl up on the edges. The driver side always wears where my foot rest by the throttle. My current truck has some Gator floor mats they’re very thick and lay perfect I’ve been happier with them than the WeatherTech.

The weathertech HP is much better and also sturdy. The other weathertech floor liner is not as good and has the logo in color. Both have similar prices

Husky x-act are nice and thick material.

These are what I have purchased for the ‘22

How are these HP's holding up a year later? I'm picking up my 22 today :) I'm torn between these and the Husky X-act contours...

Tuxmat are the way to go have them in my 19 superduty

OE mats in the summer time, and these in the Northeast winters.

HPs do not appear to be available for 2022 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab yet, neither are the Huskys, at least for my seat (bucket front) and floor styles (storage under the rear seat). If someone has other info, I’d like to know! (And no carpet).

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Husky makes the X-act Contour and Weatherbeater. I suspect the difference is like Weathertech’s HP and the floppy one. I think Husky makes a back seat X-ACT that didn’t change from a previous year and is available, but I usually sit in the front on the left! I don’t think Im confused, but if you can help me sort it out, I’d like the more rigid form-fitting mats for front and back!

Ive had the huskys for four years. Will never use weather tech.

How hard is it to clean the WeatherTech HP mats? Thinking about getting some for my 2020 Raptor since I hate the OEM floor mats. They are a pain in the ass to clean and I was curious if the HP floormats were easy to clean.

Isn't it ironic that we pay for all that perfect fit carpeting, then cover it with rubber mats? The only time I see the carpet is when I buy a vehicle and then sell it.

Might be able to fold that edge with heat gun?
