Motorcycle websites are notorious for flashy interfaces, overblown language and inaccurate or even deliberately confusing costs. So why not follow along as I take you through an example purchase, highlighting good and bad points along the way. At the end I give an overall 'Rust' score which indicates how well the website meets it's brief. Plus, how easy is it to get a Test Ride on the bike of your dreams?? Finally, I show you how large amounts of money could be saved by taking an alternative look at those desirable accessories. So if this video HAS saved you money, why not put a tip in the Jar via the Super-thanks button?

“The Riding experience will be exactly the same” typical salesperson BS, I own both the T100 and Speed Twin 900 they handle differently and have their own unique characters. Thanks for the video, subscribed 😊

Great explanation. My brother worked for a cell phone company , always told me not to buy nothing other then the phone, he stated, we make all the money with all the extras! Words from the wise!

I have to be honest I wouldn't put anything from Tec on my Triumph. In my experience they sell cheap Chinese manufactured copies that are not even remotely the same quality as OEM. I mistakenly bought their "stainless steel" panier rails for my Bonneville and the quality of the finish was poor as was the fitment requiring some flexing to make fit. The Bonneville requires longer fixings for the top shock mount and these were missing from my package (they did send out after a call) but to cap it all off after less than a year they have started to rust on a bike that is washed and dried religiously before putting away. I've got the OEM bar end mirrors and I've seen the Tec mirrors and again there is just no comparison in quality even on the finishers the Triumph ones are just so much nicer. As the old saying goes the quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.
