Your videos have really spoken to me. When you talked about impostor syndrome, I feel that deeply. I go to a top university (that I won't name) and I'm surrounded by so many people who I think are smarter than me. But you were talking about improvement and working toward getting better and better. I'm trying to stay on that path and hearing you affirm that for me is helping my confidence. Thank you.

I want you to feel better bro, its that these kinds of videos try to value the people who view them than only attract and use time. I find its a nice investment to let just people I don't usually talk to in my community have deep discussions like this with me and I like just to slow down and express my thoughts with a willing audience who gives me the patient time of day to express my self, my view, my stress, and just feel better relating with others. You may just be going through a season of confusion and feeling drained in this world where the opportunity is always accessible, but the thing with seasons is they come and go. I want you to reach out to an old friend even if it feels weird, maybe you can even be the friend to that one person who you know has no friends because they don't try to have meaningful relationships and share their minds with those they don't feel pressured to. Old and young, most people have all have felt lonely before in life. These kinds of videos are always a possibility to feel related to, but there's a whole world too, you just have to know how to start looking for the people who make you truly feel that you matter. I would want to be that person for all those I see out here who feel unloved and unheard, but I am just a humble commenter. Maybe start by taking care of your maslows hierarchy of needs, and if someone questions your importance and try to crush your potential (if that's why you clicked on the video), who the hell are they to say anything about your ability!? I might be your neighbor and you wouldn't know how my attitude was on appreciating others unless you got to know me. Not everyone is an open book, but we all have stories we'd like to share and be heard by the right people at the right time. Pave your path through the day stone by stone.

I’ve had some people judge me tho bc they don’t understand what im drawing or think its weird and even tho it isn’t a majority of people, the negative thoughts always shine through for some reason, but this video actually helped me a bit and definitely gave me some more confidence about my art. After my 27 years of living I've come to the realization that adulthood just means looking for happiness wherever it might be, everyone is literally craving it. As someone who operates more on the creative side of the brain more than the other- I used to be insanely depressed because I felt so different from everyone else. But then I discovered photography and videography, I'm pretty sure the thing that made me sad and depressed was not being able to share my creativity with both myself and other people, and I didn't possess the confidence to show who I really was.. Even though people pay me nowadays for pretty much everything I shoot and often shower me with compliments on my work, every now and then I still have my self-doubts because I feel so alone in what I do in my region when it comes to what I post, and it feels so weird to be this guy who walks around with a camera, but then I have to reassure myself with '' it makes me and other people happy and that's really the only thing that matters '' I've met so many cool people, gotten new friends and gotten to experience so many cool things just because I picked up and shared my interest with other people, and yet even more to come. Just remember that people can talk sh*t if they want, it usually it comes from jealousy or a deeply unhappy person. And ps: I love the way your voice sounds, subbed 🙌

I always somehow tear up whenever I watch a video of yours, I never knew how much I needed to hear those words you said and I'm glad I'm now realising that. Even though I like the music genre kpop i shouldn't let others make fun of me for it. I like buying my favourite groups albums but every time I go to tell someone who isn't into kpop about my new purchase(s), they make it sound like I'm wasting money and that the phase will pass. How silly of me to be ashamed because I like a genre of music that's in another language. I'm learning to not take other people opinions to heart but I should also respect their opinions as to be honest, not everyone will like the same things as you! lol. I appreciate this video popping up on my recommended and your encouraging words! :)

I used to write fanfiction, and looking back, most of those stories make me cringe to this day. But that's exactly the point! But I never let go of the idea and knew there had to be a way. Since then I started making digital drawings for the longest time. It was always difficult to share this passion with other people, especially since I’ve received a lot of discouraging criticism and insults from the people around me. Sometimes, it’s immensely difficult to proceed. But I’ll continue drawing for the passion of making things

Dreiton is by far my favorite soundtrack. However, I only listen to it when I accomplish something huge. So when I was laying down, eating and watching your video, I immediately stopped chewing my food when I heard the song. I paused and started getting emotional again. I am very hard on myself. I made a lot of mistakes this year, a lot of regrets, so much that I didn't see all the good that happened. I took the pain and learned from it, grew from it, changed from it. In five months, I became a completely new person, all from one really bad event. Yet, I didn't realize it. The music made me stop and notice my progress. Admittedly, I teared up. It's been a while since I have listened to this song. Thank you, have a good day.

Hearing that you made music but didn't particularly want people to know really hit me, since I'm in the exact same situation. I've been making music for a while now but whenever I make a new song I usually don't upload it to anywhere because of that fear of judgement. But after watching this video, I think I'm going to start uploading again for myself and not worry about what others might think. Thank you so so much for this.

I always felt like people would think I was weird or something so this video really made me realize that doing what I want to do won’t make me weird or a loser it’s me overthinking things and not doing it.

This video is perfect timing because I just showed my art talent of making graffiti art recently for Art Appreciation in college. The art was actually impressive, more impressive than my drawings in the past actually, even got decent positives when I shared it online. My interest in drawing stopped during my teenage years until college. After showing my art skills, the interest came back, I feel like a kid again, it's like a new light to get a heads start.

Really awesome video dude, this definitely gives me the confidence to get out there a bit more. I'm starting my first year of University in a couple months and I've been dreading what people would think if I told them about any of my interests, but there always is that hope of them going 'oh, that's pretty cool actually'. Keep up the videos man, your channel is definitely one of my favourites!

Very helpful and encouraging. I love this chill type of content. It reminds me of old commentary videos where you'd just watch them play while they talk about life. This is obviously more structured and thought, but I still love it.

This was a great video, man. I decided to start making KZread videos a little over a month ago since it was something I wanted to do ever since I was a child, but I never got around to it because I was a bit scared of doing it. But, last month, that changed. I have spent so much time in my life playing video games that I decided I should try to start up a KZread channel for fun. I never worry about the quality or anything because I just want my videos to come across as authentic since thats how I personally like them. I have to say, in my opinion, it is very fun to do. I totally have to agree that your first few videos are going to be complete garbage; mine were absolutely awful, but you learn so much when you just start making content. I mean, I have already learned so much even though I just started a month ago, and it's great because it's a new thing to me. Plus, I have a few subscribers who actually like my stuff, so that helps a lot too. I would highly recommend anyone to try out KZread, whatever niche or genre it is. I think you should go for it. Also, another thing is that if you want to be a KZreadr, you have got to try your absolute best to be yourself. It has helped me a lot since I don't have to put on a fake persona. I just like being myself and cracking stupid jokes while I am playing games; it's pretty fun. Putting on a fake personality can make it really hard to film content and put you in a trap where you have to act out that persona all the time. Anyways, sorry for the long comment, but I just wanted to share my experience on KZread. This video was amazing, and I have been bingeing your content a lot recently.

You make some of the most lovely thought provoking content I've ever consumed in my life. Period. You're a perfectly casual storyteller and an excellent editor. Plus your Minecraft skills are great, and your mods are awesome. Keep it up man, you're genuinely fuckin amazing.

I make music and have wanted to make videos for a while but i really struggle with confidence where i dont post my music and find it hard to stand behind the idea of me making a video, im not really sure why because from a outside perspective my stuff is pretty good but to myself its bad. Idk i just wanna start putting art out there so i think i will

Love from Australia! You're genuinely such a great person to watch. I've been going through all your videos, and its so relaxing with the minecraft gameplay in the background. I hope you don't stop doing it, and it really feels like I am listening to a friend talk. It unknowingly puts a smile on my face. This video in particular, I find kind of relatable. I was always afraid of talking about my interests due to past experiences where my school friends hadn't showed any interest in what I was saying. But that just kinda means, it's like a "test" of some sort, if they dont show much attention to what I'm so captivated with, they don't appreciate it as much. This is maybe just cause we're pretty young and in high school but yeah. Thank you again for making these videos, they're always genuinely such a treat to watch. :]

This couldn't have come out and appeared on my recommended at any better time. About when you talked about the impostor syndrome, just recently, I signed up via an essay for an Honors Society, but since then I haven't felt like I will be able to get in, and emails haven't been sent out yet. A lot of people in my math class are way smarter than me, and I often go to them for help, but it kind of discourages me because it makes me feel like I'm stupid. Every day I think back to instances where I just don't get something and get really hard on myself, but hearing you talk about it really made me feel better. Thank you so much. On my own too, I have gotten better at seeing how smart I really am and not comparing myself to others. I will remember this, for when I start comparing myself to those around me.

Absolutely. I know when I was in high school I was hard on myself on things that don't matter too much in the grand scheme of things. You know yourself better than anyone else and no point letting other people's opinion wear you down. Keep it up! And I wish you the best in getting into the Honors Society!
