The trick to dealing with the last one is act like you don’t care & walk away and pretend like you are either getting some food or giving another animal attention. Both work pretty well. Lol! If you stand there messing with them they’re still getting your attention so they enjoy it.

No the trick is teaching them that when they don't come to you, you are ALWAYS going to go and grab their collar, bringing them directly to where you requested them. Every time. By walking away you're showing them that they are in charge.
