Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark | Riding Tips #8
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Riding at night can be a completely different experience to riding during the day. Everything looks different, your view isn't as clear and you have to deal with oncoming traffic with bright lights which can be startling, but as long as you prepare correctly and take the proper precautions, riding at night can be just as fun as right during the day.

The video doesn't show just how much full beam lights improve your view ahead, but if you give it a practice when you're out, you'll instantly notice the difference. Just remember to turn them off. 🤜🤛
Commenting just to feed the algorithm as this channel needs to be waaay bigger.

I just put on a reflective jacket at night .. If you get dazzled by oncoming cars and you cant see then slow down and be prepared to stop if necessary And obviously DON'T have a tinted visor lol .. ive seen loads of people riding with one at night .. its madness
i always find with the boys in blue behind you with their disco lights on 😒 you can be seen by lots of road goers 🤣
Loves these videos mannn, great job
Thanks for the video, riding in the dark is not something I've done since my return to biking. I used to back in the late 80s when a bike was my only form of transport, but I'd probably always choose the car now. Maybe I'm missing out by not taking the bike for a ride on a nice night! You deserve more subscribers than you have mate, I found your channel when I was doing my training for Mod 1 and Mod2 and subscribed because I enjoyed your no nonsense tips and advice and I'm convinced that yourself and maybe a couple of other KZread channels helped with my confidence and knowledge in getting through the tests. And also beyond the tests, with filtering advice, driving in the dark etc.

Sorry for the late reply, Steve. Appreciate that and I'm glad the video have helped. 🤜🤛
Loving your videos mate - recently passed my CBT and absolutely loving getting out on my 125! Putting plans in place to get my full license then a bigger bike but trying to get as much experience as possible and your videos are hugely helpful in terms of building my knowledge. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Cheers, Mark. Much appreciated mate. 🤜🤛
I’m fine in towns but trying to judge a safe distance for an overtake on a dual carriageway or motorway is hard even with shoulder checks and mirrors as the car lights dazzle me. The worst night ride for me was country back roads, unlit, didn’t know the road and car coming out of nowhere dazzling me was awful. I just wanted to get off and sleep in a hedge till morning 😅 Someone recommended a pair of the yellow tinted driving glasses?
Another good video 👍

I want to get a custom jacket / 1 piece with the outline in a reflective strip and a "slow" (reflective black) sign on my back so i'm a moving roadsign in front of a bike...
