What would have been an appropriate response/actions from the Dad that would have been in the scope of an ally?
no. dont be an ally, be an accomplice. I dont want someone to just validate me, I want someone to accommodate for it, to fight for my right to have it, and to not stop validating/accomadating my lifestyle when I call you out for something or if I turn out to be a bigot
