I assume by now you found out what likkle means. It was actually a Caribbean reactor who I saw go nuts over the word that made me look it up. Apparently it's Caribbean slang and not British slang. I love that Ren throws all kinds of cultural references into his bars, slang or otherwise. To me it's a testament of all the knowledge swimming around in his head and he's even teaching this old girl a few things

While it is Caribbean slang, the Windrush generation (which involved thousands of Caribbean people immigrating to the UK in the post-war years) has naturalised a lot of slang and patois in the UK (I understand that the same is true of Toronto Canada), especially in the younger generations. I'm in my forties, brought up in Bristol, and Jamaican Patois was widely used and understood in my youth, and MLE (Multicultural London English) is heavily influenced by it.

I had ordered those both, too, but then Ren (being the fabulous creature that he is) answered a question so many of us had been anticipating.. he dropped the Vinyl editions this week! YaY! So I ordered the special edition sick boi double lp, and I'm absolutely mad with delight. 😊 (btw, sorry about that, Ren's art just stirs my inner creativity in a way I haven't experienced in far to long a time)
