Imagine being out on the steets of Brighton and walking around the corner to hundreds of people dancing and singing along with The Big Push!!! In an interview Ren spoke about one of his last busking gigs on the steets of Brighton, he posted online where he would be and at what time. When he arrived a crowd of about 3000 filled the street. What a gig that must have been.

@@redheadedneighbor there is a 360 video for a concert of him doing tale of jenny and Screech , it has the crowd gathering and him jumpin in to give folks a treat ' in the street ' im sure it was where he filmed the ' Screech part too ' if im not mistaken , you should A .. react to it ( if you can ) or B . .just watch it , it has an extra bit to the tale too .

You have no idea how many times I've thought about that. 30 years ago a busker made me late for an important job interview, I suspect a no show if it was The Big Push.

Wow ❤great reaction you were right inside the music 🎶 just like Ren. The next track they played in this session was “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath. You should react to that as The Big Push we’re on fire 🔥. Just when you think you have mapped out Ren he turns the page to a new beautiful musical map. 😊

The whole "red suspenders" set is amazing - the crowd get so amped at the end and I highly recommend looking at them all. The order following this one is : War Pigs (Black Sabbath medley), Watch Out (an original song) and lastly, Paint It Black. Incredible to think you could just rock up to this for free.

Those stairs - the same ones Ren sits on in Losing It, and that he walks down in Murderer…as that’s where they both lived at the time :)

Haha! You got to the "red braces" in the end! We knew you'd love it! You often hear Ren's respect/influence of reggae/ska in his own songs (Money Game and Murderer for instance). None of their covers are what you might expect, The Big Push mix songs together so well, creating a great mash up. One other observation, much of his own compositions are dark, as we know. It is refreshing to see pure unadulterated fun exuding not only from the band. but the audience. As big as Ren will undoubtedly become, he simply has to sneak a busking session in here and there, as soon as he gets back to rude health!

I get what you're saying about "I Shot the Sherriff". When Clapton released his version in the seventies it got played SO MUCH on FM radio for decades afterward that hearing it so often made you want to throw up. Kind-of what radio did to Fleetwood Mac, It took thirty years before i could listen to their more popular songs from "Rumors' without experincing a slight bout of naseau. All that said, Ren is fantastic on this cover. The whole band is on fire. Imagine being young again and being in that crowd!

Now you need to watch Watch Out from the same "red suspender" gig. It's an original and the crowd was so into it. I haven't seen many reactors cover it, but I'm not sure why because it's a great bouncy song! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I like the original of I Shot the Sheriff, but couldn't stand the Clapton version. I was really glad they leaned into the reggae and ska vibe for all the songs in this medley.

Wonderful watching you let the music take you - it’s an amazing performance. They’ve got multiple version of I shot the sherif uploaded, but I guess there was something special in the air that day as all the performances on that spot that day are next level. I don’t know but it feels like that was maybe at the end of them doing a lot of busking together and they had refined how to perform the tracks to a fine art.

In this track (I Shot The Sheriff) he wears red braces/suspenders, think its the same set as they did "War Pigs" in thats where the "Black Sabbath influence" comes from I think

What I find amazing is from the clothing you can tell this performance was in the same busking session as War Pigs (which was fantastic). I sure hope everyone on the street put $$ in the case because that was more than a free song... that was a free concert. I mean what can't they do. Ren may be blowing up and the band may not be playing together but they they (as a group) were special.

The next song after this is " War Pigs " I am a Soul boy and have never liked metal but Ren changed that, I just everything he does, he is truly a magician in the world of music and far beyond. This track is one of the best live performance I think I have ever seen. I just can't imagine just seeing him playing in the streets, I only live 15 miles from Brighton but sadly never been there at the right time. I sincerely hope that they get back together even for a One Off Charity Concert , it would be massive.

Know this is older, but the end there where he's rapping is a cover to a group called Dead Prez..song is "Hip Hop"..you have to be an old 90s head to catch that and a lot of folks don't..but that song is literally one of the best in hip hop at that time. I'm in a redhead wormhole today lol..rainy and nasty up here not much else going on!

I've been to Brighton a few times. Its an amazing place. The most inclusive city in the UK. Parties on the beach with every nationality you can think of. Lesbian couple here. Gay guys kissing there. I'm a straight white guy but I have never felt more at home. If i ever win the lottery I want to move to Brighton
