let me explain. Religion is belief. The first man trangressed against God so we fell from the presence of God into the presence of ourself. Mankind is born in transgressions. We needed a sacrifice to restore us back to God, so he sent the Christ which is Jesus who was killed by the Romans in 33 ad. His death created a blood covenant between man and God to restore our conciousness back to God. This was an act of salvation. Jesus gave his life for us to be born of his blameless blood from the blood of our father who transgressed against God. The requirement is faith. "Whosoever believe in his heart and confess with his mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead shall be saved." It is the gift of God. The price of sin which is trangressions against God is death but the Gift of God is everlasting life. Read carefully brother. Religion was born of the disciples who believed Jesus was the true Christ of mankind. Believe brother!

This piece of Don "Magic" Juan's journey is the most incredible! He went from pimping to enrollment in a legitimate, highly regarded (albeit fundamentalist) Bible college. I would have liked to have heard more of this part of his story. Today, Juan does not seem to be living by the tenants espoused by Moody Bible Institute. What happened?
