It's very similar to blue collar rural Canada and probably Russia in some ways (I'm guessing, since I haven't been to Russia). It's rugged mountain men and people in general who still have their heads on right. It's the environment and lifestyle that filters out people who can't handle it because in these places you can't hide from reality

@@SB-ck9gq I definitely agree with all that. I was born in the late 90's so my growing up was in 2000's America. We weren't so glued to technology yet as the first Xbox was just coming out and back then parents were stricter about making sure kids weren't on it for too long (even an hour and they'd kick us out the door and we'd never be on it before our homework was done). I didn't have one, I just had a Gameboy advanced to play Pokémon on lol Truthfully there's so much variation in America and in places like Montana or West Virginia I can promise you everyone is still going outside every bit as much as previous generations. Being outside is just part of our culture. My mom was telling me stories about being a kid in West Virginia growing up where one of her neighbor's family lived in a broken down school bus for a house instead of an actual house. Another neighbor had a bathtub in their yard and that's where they bathed cause apparently they didn't have one in their home? Crazy stuff but some parts of the US are so rural that even today you wouldn't call them quite modern. The people who live in those spots are certainly survivors though and the Americans that do experience it are still tough as anyone else in the world who push through hardship

Many of them claim patriotism for our country by hanging on retired cold war stereotypes while simultaneously fucking over the best interests of our people for political control and economic gain for their donors (sometimes being China). Sadly I don't trust the direction they will take things regardless of the will of our people but I'll continue to pray for peace. Especially because I'd love to visit Russia one day

The progressive sentiment pushed by American institutions is not organic and did not stem from true American history or culture but is rather a parasitical entity that has taken over and uses our government as a vehicle to push their agenda. They want to ideologically colonize the world, hence why they push it so hard. It really began to ramp up under Obama and now we see them flying rainbow flags over all of our embassies around the world now. The people in charge are a rootless group with no ideological allegiance to America and will depart from this country as soon as it's use is up. I suspect soon they will jump ship to China as we see them rise to power. As China ramps up for war, our government does everything it can to make this country soft and to disenfranchise conservative Americans, particularly young White men like myself who would fight for it. If a war popped off now I would not enlist, as the interests of this hostile regime is not worth fighting or dying for.
