Thanks to Salesian missionaries who were sent to China and Hong Kong, the latter was where I received education, in a Salesian school, more than four decades ago.

Sisters of St Paul have a base in HK may have one in 汉语. There are a few other missionary groups there that may be able to help.

I think those little islands mentioned after Australia includes Samoa. With the population below 200,000 the Salesians is such blessing in Samoa very fruitful. Our own parish called St John Bosco.I am very grateful I belong to this parish that both my parents (both RIP) built with the Salesians. The parish, the Technical school and the college is growing strong. Glory to God in the Highest❤❤❤

This reminds me of Saints Callistus Caravario and Luigi Versiglia who were Salesians martyred in China. And growing up as a Bosconian, for some reason their story of their martyrdom stuck in my memory for a very long time.

Before Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. The Chinese primarily worshipped "Shang Di" referred to and worshipped in a similar way to the Abrahamic way with sacrifices referred to in the bible. There are still some Shang Di temples still standing in China.

It was believed that the many islands were those of the Philippines ( at 4:21). China told the Salesians to leave in early 1950's The first Salesian center in the Philippines was in the province of Tarlac in 1951

It's so funny.I have always wondered which son of noah fostered the chinese people and why they have been so cruel to their own people for centuries. I often think of them and am sad for my brothers and sisters.Especially my catholic brothers and sisters that are in hiding.
