I still remember meeting Don Alan back in 1990. I love seeing how he presented those routines back then!

Don is one of the very very few close up magician I would put in a category with SLYDini Or Albert goshman

Here Alan makes one of his early appearances on network tv and amazes with these never before seen closeup tricks. He is and was the greatest magician of all time because the audience was right there litterally inches away from him and often physically involved. He has been forever copied but unequalled.

Most magicians doing the cigarette recorder Scotch and soda the shop cup invisible deck the rising card deck don’t even know they’re copying Dan Allen
