Dominions 6 is a turn based 4x strategy game suitable for both play vs AI, player vs player. Team play vs AI or players also works great as everyone can do their turns at once. The game has a huge variety of units, spells, magic items and different nations to play.
You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator.

19:58 isnt this slightly wrong? If you are size 4 then your attack density dtays the same. If you are 2,3 or 5 then it reduces the attack density, so isnt it good for mounted human sacreds who are size 4 with their mount?

You're correct that is slightly wrong! Thanks for pointing that out, I must have misspoke there and didn't catch it in editing, I'll put your comment up the top so it can be seen. Larger is good for your mounted sacreds if they are size 3 and their mount size 4, like tiger riders from Bandar Log or Sauromatian/Pythian lizard riders as the overall size is then 5 so still fit two to a square. If you're using humans on horses, like Man's or Pyrene's sacreds, then their mount's base size is 5, so larger wouldn't help because your unit's overall size is 6 and you're down to one a square. At least you can still fit a human sized in the square so anyone dismounted won't block another mounted unit getting in.

Once again... not just simply a 'homerun' tutorial but a tutorial hit right out of the park! Fantastic explanation on Blesses!

Thanks! Glad you found it useful! I'll probably go into a bit more of what combos I think are good in the next one, I only had a brief time to touch on it this time. Which is a strange thing to say for a nearly 45 minute long video!

Not a problem! The game is quite dense with a lot of information being thrown at you from the start, glad I was able to help a little!

Slowing weapons also appear to make the enemy attack half as often, so they can be good. Great tutorials

So as far as slowing weapons I don't belive they act as an anti "quickened" state as far as I know, but they do reduce the enemies combat move, making them more likely to take their combat action later into the battle round, which might be the interaction you're seeing!

@@ChazzyBurger I looked into the log and I believe slowing weapons do result in attacking on rounds 1, 3, 5, etc. I did not do extensive testing though

fateweaving affects ALL enemy rolls after they hit you. so they have a much harder time resisting effects

Ah interesting! See I thought it only effected magic resist and defence rolls, good to know! Everyday is a school day. Seems pretty ok for summoned sacreds! Thanks for that, I'll heart this so it's higher up so other people can see it.

Of course! We'll get onto that next episode, I didn't really want this one to go on as long as it did but there's just so many blesses nowadays!

Great overview! IMHO the choice of blesses/pretenders is heavily affected by your nation's strengths and your play-style. It's a choice between increasing your nations strengths (which I think is most effective) or complementing your nation with counter-measures or fill gaps. All the Survival blesses are IMHO total shite and easily replicated by a pair of boots. They could be interesting if the leader conveyed the movement benefits (but not the supply) to the army. And I think some big blesses are too expensive/requiring for what they give. It's more fun to use a mod to bring down the cost or requirements - as that gives more options and choices to tailor your mix.

Exactly, the big part of pretender design is that it is going for whatever your gameplan is for a nation, there's so many different options that unless you're copy and pasting one you found on the internet, no two people's interpretation of a good pretender will be similar for the same nation. Yes the survival blesses are easily replaceable for your commanders, 100% true, but not so much for the troops. There may be some very niche builds where they're useful, but to be honest I struggle to think of when they'd be handy!
