    The only thing I think is missing in this overview is the Vanir sailing ability. I think in most of the maps you play it doesn't matter as much, but on some maps sailing can be really important for mobility, expansion, and raiding. Sailing took up a lot of my strategic thinking in our game several years ago and I'm hardly a galaxy-brain Vanir player, but my throne victory strategy also hinged on that ability. You should consider making a video dedicated just to sailing sometime since a lot of the information would apply to all sailing nations. I don't think I've seen a good video about sailing on KZread.

    Something fun is that you can make boots of flying and shademail hauberks to make your dwarves stealthy and flying. After all the work they do for you they deserve to be honorary filthy, filthy elves

    With Vanadrotts, the Air 4 random is important for forging air boosters as well (you got to it when you talked about the dwarf). One minor thing about Blood 2 randoms is they can cast the blood magic spell to recover from afflictions (without boosters or empowerment). Recovering from afflictions is something I always appreciate in single player, but I don't think it's that significant in multiplayer. Instead I try to keep my vanadrotts out of harm's way.

    Seems like a Stinger would be nice in the early game, and maybe add a kite shield as well for some repel+defense shenanigans.

    If I understand mirror image correctly, the chance of being hit is 1 / 1 + num images. For example, if you have 1 mirror image (as I think is the case for glamor units), then there's a 50% chance they hit the unit and a 50% chance they hit the image. The spell is dispelled once they hit the unit and not the image. So basic mirror image from glamor isn't that great, but if you have like 4 mirror images on your unit, it will take forever for anyone to pop it. It gets significantly better the more images you have. I know that arrows dispel it pretty effectively because they just do so much blanket fire, but I'm not sure that makes thematic sense since the idea is that the mirror image confuses a person in *melee*, for example as in the climax of Conan the Destroyer. Since long range arrows are pretty much fire-and-forget, I don't get why that should affect (or be affected by) mirror image, but that's the mechanic.

    Direct damage evos are often good vs elves too, having 10 resist is not safe against things that hit reliably and they don't have much hp.

    Aren't light lances capped at 6 damage on their charge?

    The charge bonus is capped not the net damage

    Let me show you how elves expand no problem - retreat cause chaf dies, next attemt dies against chaf and that one mage Let me show you how to deal with stupid elves thugs - thug wins due to high fire resistance Well no wonder elves aren`t your favourite XD
