A little pedantic perhaps. But i dont think 9 counter thugs being able to swarm a lone ungeared Dai Oni is an argument for why they are not viable. That fight was extremely uneven.

Yeah there's a difference in recruitment turns as well. 9 of those counter thugs (at 120 gold each) and a pan is like 22 recruitment turns. The Dai oni is like 4. with 490 gold cost. Dai oni are so cool though.
Gosh, I love how half the lake is still in dominion.

I know right? Good scales are only worth it if you spread them over your lands.
Yomi is probably really regretting getting those "free pretender points" from Misfortune 3 right now :P.
