this was 2 years ago and In the end it was Reyes who's soul got destroyed when he lost this fight to Jon Jones and he's never been able to recover or rebound from this loss, this fight was very similar to the first fight Jones had with Gus back at ufc 165. Currently today Jones and Reyes are totally different from 2 years ago, Reyes is on a huge decline while Jon Jones is preparing to make history at Heavyweight.

@Charlimane good luck with that because Jon has the highest strike defense in ufc light Heavyweight and Heavyweight history at 64%, Ngannous strike accuracy is only 41% meaning he's going to miss alot of shots and will end up gassing himself out trying, and if he dares to go to the ground with Jones it's Over, Jon will submit him. Stipe is afraid of Jones too and turned down the fight with Jones in December.

While Jones looked almost like after a wellness weekend. Reyes mostly hit the air for three rounds, then gassed and tried to survive. His delusion about beating Jones is probably what turned him into a hardcore KO highlight reel afterwards.

You can see Jones trying his best to eyepoke him

Yeah, destroyed him so much that by round 5 he was holding on to dear life and his face looked like a cutelet in the press conference whereas Jones looked like he had just returned from a wellness weekend

He was really inexperienced going into that fight and showed Jon was/slowing down as age catches up to him. But unfortunately the stars didn't align for Dom and it's probably best for him to call it a career.

All i remember is Reyes running for his life the entire last round.

You can’t just add in these other factors because I’m sure if Reyes knew he was going to be going until someone quit, he would’ve been more conservative with his gas tank. Gustaffson looked like a cutelet after the first fight and was finished in about 5 min in the second fight. Reyes face was beaten up and Jones was almost unharmed after their fight. Reyes touched Jones more, but it had basically zero effect other than causing Reyes to gas and barely survive the fight. Get your facts straight.

He only won the "how often can I touch him" contest by throwing out high but completely uneffective volume - the only effect was that he gassed and barely survived.

Why you think jones wouldn't fight Francis

People say he "won" he got "robbed" I say eat this D go open a book on techniques and actually read it, that fight was mesmerizing i enjoyed every second of it definitely one of the toughest fight jon Jones had recently i think Dominick heart, power and determination to win is mesmerizing but he just lack techniques and maybe stamina too overall great fighter came from American football background I'm genuinely impressed 👏
