The BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 might not have received any updates aside from the mandatory ones. The bike got a chunky USD fork, front radial brake caliper, and a DOHC setup, just like the KTM 390 Duke. The powerful LED headlight remains as do the other LED illumination bits.
You get two digital information panels on the Dominar 400, the second one mounted on the fuel tank. The primary one portrays information such as the speedometer, the tachometer, real-time and average fuel consumption indicator, a fuel gauge, and a side-stand warning. The secondary panel has trip meters, odometer, a gear position indicator, and a clock.
The 373.3cc DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor has its origins in the KTM 390 Duke’s powerplant. Output figures stand unchanged at 40PS and 35Nm even after being upgraded to BS6-compliance, and the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
Is Dominar 400 BS6 Worth Buying?
The Dominar labels itself as a hyper-tourer, so even though it is naked, it isn’t as small and sharp as your average streetfighter. So, it is worth buying the Bike.

D 400 quality is good. It's better to replace those engine guards tho. But the kind of equipments you get like liquid cooling system, USD forks, cast aluminium swingarm and overall fit and finish is definitely good. Better than most RE products for sure

This is Bajaj's flagship bike they should offer a color TFT display just like the Ktm duke 390.... that's it there is nothing else left ...perfect motorcycle

Great review bro. I am 5 feet 10 inch and have a good body build..not slim or skinny but not muscular either. Will this bike be comfortable for me to ride ? And also I think its quite heavy so little concerned! Im thinking of booking it. Please share your opinion. Thanks 🙂

I got a mileage of 37-40 ,maybe I was driving too linear and there was no ghat roads but traffic and revving up sometime happens but it's a very good mileage if u ask me

Brakes are good... the rear one alone might feel light on high speeds, the reason is it gets single piston but overall stopping power is good!

N TOWN CITY sure bro!! It is a good bike to have and is value for money!! The only thing you need to keep in mind is, it is a 400cc bike so the fuel efficiency will be less

What are the cons of this bike brother
I would need your suggestion for buying a bike. I am 6ft tall and I have to travel 65-70km daily and around 270km on weekend so which bike would be best for me. The key aspects I am looking for is comfort, power as well as mileage. If you would have to suggest 1 what would be among rs 200, dominar 400 or gixxer 250 sf?

saksham jhamb okay!! What is your budget?? D400 is a good choice and you can even think of Himalayan... does the job well and both a comfortable the Dominar can do high speeds and Himalayan is suited for tall riders and has off road capabilities

What would you recommend between the Himalayan and Dominar? Usage 70% Highway 30% City. Which is more comfortable? In terms of city use (lower speeds) which is easier to live with?
