Great unit. Works great here in Titusville, FL.

I have 3 on my unit and they are horribly loud and all 3 leaked out the 410a. I am now in the process of replacing and hate that my options are so limited

The real feel in Florida the past few weeks has been in the 100s. But, inside my Winnebago Micro Minnie 1706FB with my Brisk Air 2 my internal temperature has not gotten over 75 degrees Fahrenheit. My fan speed is on speed two, never needed top speed and the temp knob is about 2/3 of the way. Never had to max it out. Keep up the great products Team Dometic. BTW I live in my travel trailer full time here in Florida. Wouldn't be possible without Dometic products. Have a great weekend folks and safe travels.

I have the very same unit and while it does keep it very cool inside its louder than my Generator . I brought a DB meter in my camper and its over 70 DB . Really loud and low Med and High should not be the settings it should say Tornado really loud tornado and super loud tornado.

@@iair-conditiontheoutsideai3076 there is no reason they can't make a AC unit that isn't so loud and still keeps it cool. Coleman did it. Just as efficient and 20 DBs quieter.

I just installed the 15000 btu brisk 2 on my rv. How long should I wait before putting it into service? I heard the penguins require 12 hours due to the horizontal compressor. Is it the same for the brisk 2

any chance I could get the CAD files for this or atleast really details technical drawings? I want to be sure of the fitment on my build. Thanks

Replace one do to leaking where couldn’t see over 3 yr, contacted just after warranty ran out they said too bad so sad, New one doing ok but now have a 8000 btu window unit also and really does better than the brick air ii

Yep not surprising everything they make is garbage the old dometic products were okay but the new ones are just crap

No they are a terrible brand everything is garbage and extremely overpriced

Do not buy this air conditioner it is not designed to run constantly and I have seen several of these units just give out when the compressor does not shut off for several hours. I recommend buying Coleman mach those units seem to last much longer dometic does not make anything quality anymore the only thing they make is a lot of money off their overpriced crappy products

These units are the biggest piece of junk you could buy. In the 2 years I’ve had my rv I’ve had 5 of these all with the same problem. They leak freon and they’re made to be disposable rather than being able to refill it. Stay far away from dometic.

@@DometicOfficial We also have an issue with our 1 year old unit...reading lots of concerns with these on RV forums. We leave in 30 days for two weeks in Florida and every service center we are calling is telling us 4-8 weeks to get us in! So at this point...I'm going to have to skip the warranty repair, diagnosis it myself...top it off with freon and/or have to install a new unit. Boo! 30+ years of boating and every AC unit has lasted 15+ years. This thing was having issues after the first year...plus it vibrates the camper too much.

@@DometicOfficial Same here I have a 2017 Polomino Solaire and the unit looks brand spanking new but freon has leaked in one of the units. I'm out of warranty! The RV was used less than 5 times since purchased and the vents look as if its never been used but freon leaked and now it blows warm. spector1pk@gmail.com
