Dolph Lundgren's secret 8-year cancer battle | EXCLUSIVE
Ойын-сауық
Swedish actor, filmmaker and martial artist Dolph Lundgren discloses that he’s been working with medical professionals to treat cancerous tumors since 2015 and at one point, he was told he had two to three years left to live. Thankfully, Dolph sought a second opinion and was put on a treatment that quickly shrank his numerous tumors, by as much as 90% last year.

I saw him at the Arnold Sports Festival in Sept 2021. Its amazing knowing what he was going through at that time but he still showed up and put on a great show for us all and stood up on stage as an unstoppable action hero. Keep punching Dolph!
9:00 Seeing Dolph upset really hits differently here. I've got family with cancer and at it's worst it was the hardest time of our lives. When things improve you really do look at life as the time before the cancer and the time after. Dolph and his family will have gone through a lot of what I and many others would have gone through, battling this vile disease. I think a legendary movie star like Dolph, with the career and life he's had, breaking down and being completely transparent, is a beautiful thing. I'm so glad he's doing better and long may it continue.
Omg! I had no fking idea he had cancer! I'll definitely keep him in my prayers.
Great to see a childhood hero still being a hero. Thank you to all the people in medicine for all you do.
Cancer has no idea who it’s f-ing with…
Physically a very strong guy! But also psychologically! He faces a different sort of challenge, but it is not his first time. Wish him strength and healing!
This is why getting a second opinion is necessary, especially when it comes to something so serious. Never feel like you are going against your doctors when looking for another opinion, at the end of the day, it’s your life in their hands! Praying for him and his family.
Respect for this man
Brave of Dolph to put a face and story to his treatment experience. Strength and perseverance takes many forms. Never give up.
Keep that mental toughness, don't let it break you down. Your fans love you Dolph!!! We are cheering and praying for you sir!!!

I am glad it went well and I hope you stay cancer free but in some way if you get cancer your story is one of the best cases that 1. It didn't spread 2. It will solvable with surgery. If it's not surgical your only chances are chemo and that basically is killing all healthy cells at the same time at the hopes you stop and reduce the growth that has spread.
@MustafarRecRoom
Жыл бұрын
@@Despond You’re correct…mine was detected early and because it was localized to one kidney….was easy to remove and no other treatments (chemo, radiation) were required….I was lucky. Kidney cancer is slow growing but once it metastasizes, can be much more complicated to treat.

Graham is the absolute best interviewer alive. The respect he shows his guests and the look on his face is very genuine, like he's always learning and listening. I love his interviews.
This was scary to read and listen to. I hope and pray the medicine and treatments Dolph is taking help and destroy the cancer! He was upset at times in the interview but also optimistic about moving forward with his treatments including the medicine he is being treated with. I just met Dolph on April 1st this year. He is a nice guy and I’m happy I had the opportunity to meet and talk with him! He talked about filming in 2020 in Alabama. That would have been Castle Falls which he directed. Great movie! Dolph is a great guy! I’ll be praying for him🙏🏼
A genuinely interesting story with a positive outcome. Hopefully the journey Dolph is taking opens up awareness for other cancer patients. The difference in treatment and outlook between hospitals and doctors in different countries is pretty remarkable. If nothing else, the message should be: Never Give Up Hope, and Always get a second opinion. Good luck, Mr. Lundgren!

I agree, and this is also an indictment on the way they practice medicine in this country. It’s so rigid and narrow minded at times. People should get 3rd and 4th opinions..
