I am happy that you also like Turkish foods!
I’m Kurdish love Greek food ❤
I am originally from St Catharines Ontario. I lived next to a fruit farm. I now grow grapes on my property here in London Ontario. I always use my grape leaves for just this recipe also for making dill pickles. They add crunch.
Thank you very much sir I take your receipt. Its so tasty. Love you from Cyprus.
Twenty years ago I had my first dolma on the island of Crete in a small town called Milatos. The season was right for the zucchini flowers, so I ordered both: dolmadakia in grape leaves and in zucchini flowers. It was such an experience that since then I consider myself definitely a partial Greek!

Zucchini leaves are amazing
You can use cabbage leaves instead of vine leaves. Leave the cabbage tolls in the lemon sauce. Delicious
One of those dishes that I never think of making but pound the damned things where ever I find them. Cheers
YAY! My favourite appetizer. But sometimes we eat a bunch as the main course. I've made hundreds and hundreds of them, that's how much my little family loved them. I make mine w/out meat and a lot of dill. I knew a young Greek mum over 40 decades ago and she taught me how to make them in about three or four different ways ~with meat, w/out meat, bite sized, a larger size (like a spring roll) with mint w/out mint and some had pine nuts. It's a really versatile dish. I loved learning from her~I was pregnant and she kept me full, believe me, 😂. Jenn

Great video! I went to Greece when I was 18 years (38 years ago) and I discovered this food. Amazing taste. I always eat it in a Greek restaurant. But now I live 14 years in Asia, very hard to find this. I cannot wait to make it soon. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Awsome.

I made these two days ago. I subbed ground lamb (on sale 2.99/#) for the beef, and for a little heat I ground up a small serrano with the other ingredients. Fantastic!

A very interesting recipe with good instructions concerning the techniques. I have a pretty productive mint plant in a pot indoors, too bad I haven't had the same success with a potted grapevine... off to hunt for the leaves in a jar. A pleasure to watch as always, thanks man!

Hola ... on a seperate note I am very curious as to how you keep your herbs from your garden fresh after having picked them .. if you dont mind me asking

I never mind answering questions😊 I put them in a glass with some water on the bottom. Keeps my herbs super fresh all the time and they last much longer.... 🙏🏼👍✌️💪
You're the only person I've seen leave the stems on
Neglects to remove the stem& place the rolls seam down.
Hi Ken..can I stack them in the pot if I have many people to feed?
@KensGreekTable

Absolutely!!! I usually layer mine up to 4 layers high....
Another great video Ken! I'm gonna try using a food processor for the dill and onion. I usually add cinnomon to the mixture. I noticed you don't cut the stems. I always cut them. Ken, my girlfriend and I have enjoyed your videos today. Greetings from Massachusetts!

@@rodicalionaki2256 They can also be done with pligouri (bulgur) and you can always turn the remaining liquid into a thickened ladolemono with some corn starch and salt and pepper to taste to substitute avgolemono.
