Dolly has been around the music business for almost 60 years and has been in films and had a few music-themed variety shows. Yet, through all these years I have never heard anyone say they didn't like Dolly. The tabloids used to pester her in the '80s but I don't think it hurt her career. It is hard to make fun of someone when they are more than happy to join in and help you out.

she is so cool. i love her. she never bows down to interviewers too intrusive questions. baba wawa's interview is a great example. Dolly is comfortable in her skin and soul.

You have to honestly say, Carl is a self conscious person who doesn't feel comfortable with celebrity or show business. His steady attitude is NOT SHOW BUSINESS so it works for her as well as him. She gets home and its not about business anymore, its about her, and her alone. She knows that she must be business in show business. She understands it and more than anything appreciates Carl's steadfast keep life real attitude that she needs when removed from celebrity. You know, there is something about Carl that we all should aspire to. Just a rock of a person who doesn't need celebrity to be a person.

Dolly has the most beautiful, cutest most heartwarming laugh I've ever heard..
