My father made each of his granddaughters a dollhouse and ours had lights in it also. It was so lovely seeing it glowing when the sun went down early on dark winter nights. We kept it on the landing at the top of the stairs so you could see it from many rooms. My parents used to hunt for shops that specialized in miniatures to furnish them with the little treasures they were so excited to share. So many years ago. So many good memories.

Granddaughter took mine over, she found a new way too do trim edging on walls, straw and yarn as burlap, and she really did a fantastic job!! A lovely doll house, my mother in law has a very beautiful dolls house made over many years. I contributed several things to it, my best was two dinning room chairs with embroidered seats done in miniature embroidery. Like you we get pleasure from looking at the lovely things in it. Your house is very beautiful and so many interesting things in it. 💕

I just love this so much. I seem to see a lot more different things. The wooden rabbit in the bedroom and and the wall piece, the pig playing the violin and some new flower pots I think. Please make another one! I've always wanted to have one and have always been attracted to small/tiny things. What about a window flower pot or different decorations for the holidays to put outside the house. Hey now that you have the 2 of you inside you need to add your pets.

Me too, actually I have a dollhouse that’s 75 years old that was made by my uncle. It needs refurbishment, so your dollhouse was an inspiration for mine.

I have a doll house and am exactly the same as Arne. I do not allow children to touch anything in it and only let them look if I am there. - yes harsh but………delighted Arne is the same as me 🤭. What a treat this tour has been. Thanks guys. 🌻

It's not harsh to keep children away from cherished items. A few years ago, a family with children was visiting my mother and me. One of the children went into my parents' room and took my father's antique toy train from his desk. He came back into the living room and asked if he could have it. My mother and I were speechless. The child's mother's response? "At least he asked if he could have it." 😬

This was so worth waiting for! The rooms are so magical. I think the two dolls need a smaller space as well to show off all the things that have been in storage. And maybe a little greenhouse :)

It’s a magical channel and I think you would find it fascinating.
