I’m an assistant manager at DT. It should be kept separate. We have an end cap where we put ours and there are strips that go under them that say the price. What MIGHT have happened was that someone who didn’t really stock usually could have put it there. I make sure I ALWAYS let people know when something is more and ask if they still want it. Also people don’t pay attention to the freezer plus section sometimes too. We ALWAYS ask! Sorry this happened to you!

There should be a section for JUST Bonus items NOT on end caps, thats not right. And ALL DT should get the same stuff, it shouldn't very per area, other states get cool stuff and Utah does not! Yes I have emailed the corp office several times and I get no response.

I’ve been watching your channel since 2016. My divorce was finalized yesterday, I have 2 daughters and I’m 39 years old. I always love your channel, but I feel like I can relate to you even more now. I am excited to decorate my house how I want, buy all the candy I want, have all the shows I like playing in the background like how you do. Your channel is a constant for me, so appreciate how consistent you are!

We have been feeding our dog a raw/whole people food type diet for years now. I would suggest sardines in oil along with 2 raw eggs. The oil in the sardines is very good and healthy for their coat. Just advice from what we have experienced. Good luck with it though. I think your dog will love it.

I got caught up in the candy scam awhile back and the cashier happened to tell me did you know those are 3.50.. I said no and told her I don't want them then. And I've been looking for the beautiful clear divided in 3 because I kept trying to figure out what I could use them for and once they run out I decided they would be perfect for individual types of tea bags. So beautiful to sort and display and keep it fresh!! Nice big Big haul! Thanks for your time and energy in your finds!! And the qtips are great idea I'm on the hunt now for them!!

Their garden gloves are a must. I go through them like water, so I always buy like 5 pairs and just toss them out when they start ripping.

I would recommend the sardines in water. Sardines are already an oily fish, adding in that extra oil is unnecessary. Dogs don't need that extra fat.

Okay, I noticed DT putting the higher priced candy in the Easter section, they should et people know like you said. Now they have gotten their boxes out of the aisles and getting their act together on stock, now they are mixing bonus items with 1.25 items. Come on DT

Same at my store. There is no more "plus" aisle. It is all over the store mixed in. It started around Valentine's day with Valentine's stuff, a crew came in to reset our store, and now it's all throughout the store. I am actually avoiding the store some now because it's just not on brand and defeats the purpose of Dollar Tree.

​@@faithharless9359Not always. I was charged $1.50 for an item labeled $1.25. And the manager was super rude when I showed it to him, acting like I was the problem. He pulled the whole display down and took it to his office.

Other people have complained about that candy being $3.50 at other Dollar Trees too and I agree it's sketchy to put amongst the other $1.25 merchandise...

I found some nicer jar candles in the regular $1.25 section & was super impressed with them for that price. Wasn't until I got home that I saw on the receipt that it was $5! Apparently the price was on the bottom of the jar. They shouldn't have been mixed in with $1.25 candles!

I almost got tricked by the "plus" priced bags of Easter candy that were on an end cap in the seasonal $1.25 section, but I realized it before I got to the register. Giving DT the side-eye on that one. LOL!

I hear that Dollar Tree’s prices are going up again and some items are going to be 1.75.That is a huge jump in price and doesn’t sit very well with me. Great haul!!!🩷

I agree. So much for the five quarter store. They need to change their name. Nothing is a dollar anymore.

Oil is good for dogs. It helps their coats. But just give it in moderation.

I did the same thing with the Starburst jelly beans. They usually carry them every year for $1.25 so I was shocked when they rang up $3.50!

The higher price candy is apart of dollar Tree plus sometimes boxs come mislabeled or it gets stocked accidentally, I would simply watch the items when they are wrang up.

I spent about 100 tiday at Dat. The plastic stirage bins that fold flat ,also come in a smaller suze. No handle , but cute. If they go up to 1.75 ,I am done shopping there! The quality is just not there for that price!

Girl I would take the candy back, but I know youtubers do this for a living, but sometimes just take it back so DT knows they need to do a better job.

I don't know if they would have told her she could only get another $3.50 item or what. DT only allows exchanges no returns for money or no put back on card.

That exact thing almost happened to me the other day at dollar tree. I just happened to see the price and put the candy back.

Only water. Tuna in water as well. We do salmon and tuna in water but we don’t use sardines. We mix it with 1 cup of kibble though. We alternate days with chicken, tuna etc.

I almost gotten taken. I got an air freshener that wasn't in the plus scetion & it was more than a $1.25. Nowhere on the packaging did it say the price or no signs. I told the cashier I didn't want it. It took several minutes for a manager to come over to take it off. I always check my receipts before leaving the stores. I have had a DT store ring something up more than the quantity I got. If I don't notice it at the time they ring it up, & go back after I paid, they always tell me go pick something up in the store. It's a pain when it's not your fault.

This happened to me also here in Florida. I'm thinking, I will stop shopping at Dollar Tree, kicking them to the curb. Lol

I work for the DTs and they’re all suppose to have the more expensive candy separated from the $1.25 candy. It’s laziness on the employees part if it is not!

Um, I know this is not an ASMR channel but I love when you do the shop with me’s bc of the whispering and crinkling of the packaging as you grab and toss the items in the basket.🫠

I buy the gloves in the hardware auto section for gardening gloves. They hold up better. I love them. They come in a color that is easy to spot in the yard. I will say the others are cutier but so thin. I flower farm so I need a bit sturdier.

Great finds! I almost got played last month at one of my dollar trees on that jolly rancher jelly beans candy. I saw it ring up at the register and told him to take it off after him telling me it was $3.50. We have no plus stores here at all! That candy was on an end cap with small neutral colored strips that slid into the shelving and said $3.50 really small. They need a big ole sign or something since you're expecting everything to be $1.25! So sorry you got played at dollar tree 😢

Thanks for the great haul...I got scammed myself with the Starburst Jelly Beans today....When I came home looked at my receipt I paid $3.50 ....I would have not purchased them if I would have know that since I am only using them as decorative for my candy jar...Not nice Dollar Tree....😡

No oil in the sardines. Water is better. We also give our dogs salmon and salmon oil in their food. Not daily but a couple times a week. We have our dogs on Farmers Dog. It’s not raw but cooked food. Dry dog food dehydrates dogs terribly which causes health issues when they get older. It has added years to our oldest fur baby who turns 15 in October. She acts so much younger. We recommend Farmers Dog to everyone. It’s pricey but it keeps them out of the Vets office.

The twisty straws with the lollipop on the end you can swish them around in a vodka soda and it flavours the drink! I personally don’t drink but my son told me this is a thing!

Great haul, I found 1 of my DT's is putting up the prices now at each item display. Thank goodness because I'd be putting the poor cashier thru the wringer, taking the item off & putting it back. Sorry DT, but my funds are limited...😂😂

Fish in cans is cooked during the canning process; not raw but I bet he'll love it!!!!!

Our DT has knock off of Olay regenerist cream cleanser, daily moisturizer, and night time moisturizer. Also a knock off Neutrogena hydro boost gel, and hand gel. All by the brand b.pure. just something to be on the lookout for. I've bought all the "olay" but have only used the cleanser so far. But I can honestly say I love the product and have been making a stock pile 😅

The Wilton colors include blue, pink, green, yellow, silver, gold, black etc. They're amazing! I'm in Maine and my DT doesn't have them yet, but I've been buying them for years elsewhere!! Now im on the hunt!

One vlogger showed her Dollar Tree with scanners to check prices since the prices now vary from $1.25 up to $5.00, some are $1.50, 1.75, etc. WTH is going on? Girl yup! That's what happened to me the other day too! I think I commented under your other vids. I thought candy was 1.25 it was 3.50 and I grabbed 2 bags. Luckily I was watching the register price thing and it popped up 3.50 and i told her I didn't want it. The girl grabbed the bags and rolled her eyes at me like "I should've known better". But yup they mix everything now throughout the store 😒

For the sardines…. Check with your vet &/or look for a holistic vet to advise you. I feed my 15 year old rescue, a sardine two to three times a week & I feed the wild caught sardines in water. I can highly recommend those. But again, check with your vet, that is best.

Ok so I saw a news story that some Dollar Trees have the scanners like you find in Target because they raised the prices on many items throughout the store like sunglasses and reading glasses 😡my other comments had many typos please ignore!

Yes you have to watch the DT they don’t have all of the items marked and they had a smaller bag of skittles than Walmart and it was $5!!! They are also going to raise prices again. A lot of places $1.75 for numerous items and ice $2. Going to get tough to shop there!

DT Plus items are only $3 or $5. The new prices of regular merchandise are now $1.25 on up. EyeGlasses $1.50, Sunglasses $2.00, Coke/Pepsi bottles $1.75, Big bags of candy varies $3.25 +, cleaning products $2.25-3.25….scanners in stores now, so you can check prices

The sardines will make his coat shine. I would go with the oil base sardines. Alot of the food value will be in the oil

I work in dog boarding facility caring for dogs and i notised some owners bringing dryed sardines for their dogs . Maybe you can try that too.

You shouldn't give him oil of any kind cause it will effect his bowels. Also sardines are very salty. You should start him on a cleaner fish like a white fish. I give one of our dogs salmon and peas and he's been doing great. He was a rescue and a mess. It really helped him all around.

I bought Easter candy at Dollar Tree and found out like you that they were $3.50. I didn't even know that there were $3.50 items in the store. With prices going up at Dollar Tree, I'm going to start paying attention to what I buy. Maybe that's why Dollar Tree is putting price scanners in the stores.🤷‍♀️

Okay I can’t post a picture. The kind of sardines I ordered are ‘season sardines in water, skinless and boneless, no salt added’.. I’m in several FB groups educating people about raw feeding and this is the kind the vets in the group are recommending. Indie loves them!!.

Dollar tree here in Canada has different prices on items throughtout the store. No dollar plus section

Sardines are great, but choose the ones with no salt, otherwise oil or water is fine as sardines are oily fish anyway 😊

Marie keep an eye out on prices at DT. I have seen people talk about prices increasing to $1.75 instead of $1.25. And also varying prices throughout the store, not just in the bonus section, and not marked. Some people have posted there's even price checkers now in their stores. I haven't seen this myself, but just be aware!

For the color mist I also found green.

We now have $1.50 and $1.75 items at our store and there are no signs and you don't know until you get to the checkout. Diet Pepsi is now $1.75.

I shopped at a DT that had self-checkouts the last time I was there. If you have self-checkouts at your store, that would be another way to prevent overpaying on some items since you would see it as you were scanning your items, and it also says the price out loud.

There a 4 DT's in the city I live in. All 4 can get viral items but usually each store has a different viral item. So therefore, I float around to all 4. You have to know when the truck comes in and get to know the pace of stocking by each individual store. It's like a math equation lol

If that store is nearby, i would at least bring them to the store and talk to the manager. As others have said, sometimes the cashier will point out that something is a 'plus' item but to mix them in with the regular 1.25 candy is just wrong 😒

Sardines in a can are LOADED with salt. Salt is not good for dogs and can make them vomit. I would go for fresh.

My daughter told me she noticed some of the dollar tree stores are mixing the prices together.

Today my DT had the bakers color mist in blue and green.

My local DT employees ask , “Did you realize this is a $3/$5 item?”

I had this happen. Was looking at the $1.25 candy - well most of it was. I got a couple of bunnies that when I got home and looked at my receipt - THE BUNNIES WERE $5.00. BLEW my budget. But the bunnies were good. So watch what you pick up. My DT is putting a lot of plus stuff by or in the $1.25. Not good.

If I was giving my dogs sardines I would definitely use the water packed. Make sure the canned are okay The sodium might be high. I feed my dogs canned tuna and canned salmon packed in water.

Yes! My dog was diagnosed with early kidney failure, and some of the diets I came across called for sardines or mackerel. It was really hard to find in water with no salt at reasonable prices. With a dog that is healthy, it's probably still better to go low or no salt and no oil.

My cashiers usually tell me if the price is different. That's why I don't enjoy shopping at the 99 cent store for that reason, they don't price their items like they should and if you don't pay attention then you're out of luck and I don't appreciate that.

I think the oil would be OK. I also think u should take the candy back.

I think that is pretty sneaky...BAD! I would return them and complain. Have never seen the scented q-tips. Will have to try them🙂 My friends have a German Shepherd and have him on the raw meat diet. His skin and coat have drastically improved! He never scratches/ itches anymore!! Even I noticed his shiny coat! Like the new stickers.

I'm so jealous of the dollar trees that are getting the pop daddy pretzels! I work at one, and mine and the other one in town hasn't gotten them QQ. I've tried em but don't wanna pay 5 dollars on the pop daddy website D: Loved finding your channel and seeing this!

I feed my dog he is a Chihuahua a half of boiled egg in the morning and canned chicken (I rinse the chicken because of salt) but it's packed in water at night. He still has dry dog food out and available when he wants. My vet says they still need the dry as well. Of course ck with your vet.

That's what they are doing now. I talked with someone today, who travels all over to "open" areas of dollar tree. He opened our dollar tree plus section by me, he said you'll find higher priced items throughout the store now, mixed in with regular items. Which ours does now, I noticed it last week. He said they are basically becoming Family Dollar. 😢

My Dollar Tree also has the $3.50 and $5 candy in the Easter section. It is on an end cap but I nearly missed the little sign! Also, have you seen the smaller one liter soda is now $1.75 🤯

Great haul! You always find cool items! Like the Q-tips, they match the wipes that came out. Will have to look for them in NJ. Hopefully we get them. The dental care pack is great. Wow! Beautiful eye pallets! The food mist comes in about 5 colors but very difficult to find. I never thought to get the men’s no-show socks. Thanks for the idea. Cool straws!! Great for Easter. YES… the Oreo cakesters come in different flavors. The peanut butter ones are really good.

I have been waiting to find a plant holder like that to hang my disco ball in. Also, in my experience, it's easy to dye macrame.

I have been seeing this as well with the DT’s I have been too. It’s annoying. I assumed they were trying to keep seasonal with seasonal, but it is tricky if you are not paying close attention.

Oil is good for dgs

My DT had candy for $3 and $5 but they was in the box they came in like Walmart and Kroger displays- DT needs to display the price on the actual bag of candy since they recently decided to raise prices - DT needs to change their name or do better at notifying customers of the price changes

Hi Marie, I’m researching the feeding raw also. I’ve ordered sardines from Amazon, packed in water no oil… posting a picture.

The Russel Stover and the other large sized bunnies, jelly beans and something else should be on the end caps of the seasonal candy section and those items are $3.50. Also on those end caps there should be a shelf label saying $3.50 or $5.00. If your store has a Snack Zone and a cooler in that area (cold drinks) pay attention to the items in that cooler which are Coke and Pepsi products which are now $2.25 to $3.75 and the chips on top of the cooler are $2.50 which are bigger than the small bags for $1.25
