Anytime I have suction cups that do not stick…if the surface allows you can place a little bit of Vaseline it always creates a better suction. Try that.

I know! It’s frustrating. I sometimes make videos on KZread and I don’t have the money for those expensive Acrylic drawers or expensive IKEA drawers! I need affordable 😅options and some hacks! And this video is PERFECT!

It’s funny you mention getting eaten by closets. Well, it was on a dark, stormy night. I was sorting my socks. I had realized that I had not one single matching pair left. I entered my closet and tried to turn on the light. It wouldn’t work. I grabbed my phone to use the flash light. All of a sudden I felt something brush my leg. It startled me and I dropped my phone. Tho the flashlight was on I could barely see it. As I trudged thru jeans and sweaters towards the little light I could see, I realized I was in some part of my closet I’ve never seen. As I reached my phone and was able to illuminate my closet, I gasped! There in the depths of my closet, never explored , we’re all my socks. They cheered as they saw me. They knew they were saved! They told me the closet was angry with me for treating it like a dump and that it vowed to steal all my socks ( and some undergarments!) until I returned it to its original state. An organized and cared for space. I knew it would be a lot of work but I agreed. The closet , tho not happy about it, parted the piles of clothes and made a path out of this newly discovered space and let us go. With matching socks in hand I left . I locked that door and never went back. That closet can kiss my A$$!!

You actually KNOW what the word HACK means!!! ❤ it drives me crazy when creators call things a “hack” that are just their “ideas”, not really a HACK. 🙄 You have such SMART hacks and great solutions! Thank you!! 👍🏻❤️

Use a vase or a cute candle holder instead of the paint brush organizer for the lazy Susan. Takes up less space so you can add more products! And great video! Such great tips. 😀

So many great ideas. I am passing on my favorite for my craft area...clear zip bags.I don’t use tins, boxes, fancy containers. I use clear zip bags for almost everything and then place the items in a clear shoe box or tote. I don’t mind rooting a little bit when the items cannot be mixed up. To keep expenses down, I wash and used bags from the kitchen. Little bags for beads etc can be found at Walmart. I also put my jewelry in mini zip bags. Then they go in a pretty box. When I am deciding what I want, I empty the box on my bed, grab what I want and scoop the bags back into the box.

Speaking of "spice bottles", don't forget to mention that you can buy spices at The Dollar Tree. Yesterday I spent $25 on spices that would have cost me about $150 if I'd bought them elsewhere. I loved your explanation of why E6000 is the best glue to use. I've been using it for years and really appreciated the "why" and "why for." The jewelry organizer would be even more useful if you could hang it on a swivel hook. I thought your drip catcher for the laundry bottle was a very good idea. I always just ran it into the washing machine dispenser directly. Sock mating is not a problem if you only wear white socks in the summer and black socks in the winter. I like Yomandamor socks. They are made from bamboo and are soft, comfortable, and wash well. They never lose a mate.

Girl, right!?! And they often have name brands plus I find their store brand to also be good quality. And yes, regarding e6000, if you are not using the correct adhesive, don't waste your money on the other materials and for that matter, your time putting it together. And I'm with you! I have also adopted the white and black sock only method. This way if one gets lost, no problem!

I have found that the Dollar Tree sunglass holders are pretty useless for their intended use in the car because the plastic on them stretches out in the sun and they don't hold onto the visor any more. You came up with some good alternate uses for them. I also really liked the hack with the magazine holder under the shelves. I've got a lot of wasted pantry space for those.

Yes! Matt and I need to get back to kitchen! As a long time viewer, you know that I have had my challenges with KZread and promoting my content (although this one is doing well since these long ones seems to be like algorithm crack!) so all of my "in real life" endeavors (that I was forced to explore) are now demanding a huge amount of time. The Christmas season was crazy but now here comes Valentines! So hopefully will still have time for KZread going forward.

For the lid organizer you could also use pencil erasers that slip on the pencil! You are GENIUS!!! My only issue is my Dollar Trees (7) doesn't have a lot of these items. As in the square bowls. I've never seen those!! Did you know that stuffing a used toilet paper roll with dryer lint makes a great fire starter? I thought my office space was organized. Compared to you, I'm a mess! Go Longhorns!! 🤘 Your crafting room is absolutely beautiful!! Loved the video and will be implementing many of your ideas. Thank you!!
