Just went to Dollar Tree a few days ago and saw all the stationary and although I'm not excited for school to start soon, I had to buy some cute things. I also went crazy over the new plastic storage containers. Love this video and I plan on doing something similar!

All the ones you made are nice. The one you made using a bottle is my favorite. I purchased the tiki brand herring bone torches and 2 of the 3 have broken the glass on top. The wicks are setup according to the directions

Much easier,quicker,and safer to use hammer and large(fat) tack.Then you don't have the dangerous "jump back"from a drill and no prob.of cracking the glass jar.Place lid bottom side up on wooden cutting board or other hard surface. Hammer tack through lid "bottom side up"then flip over again.Run wick trough from underneath to top. The "barbs" from tack hole can be squeezed in a tiny bit to help hold wick in..leave enough slack to pull wick through(upper surface) when you need to trim it to get cleaner burn and prevent smudge/smoke.

If you buy bug-repellent fuel supposedly it will help with mosquitos. I haven't tried it though.

How do you out them without burning your fingers

Do you let the oil soak up the wick first before lighting?

Yup, let it soak for a bit as long as an inch is submerged in the fuel, it will be fine 😊
