Every time I watch one of these I get some really good ideas that I think will work for me. Next time at the dollar tree I can't find those items. I was there today looking for the shelf risers. Not a one in the store.

OMG my favorite idea was the hooks for the Cricut mats. So obvious BUT I never thought of that. I use those hooks for everything. Genius

I use a lot of dollar tree containers too. Great video.

I store my ribbon spools differently. I inherited a TON of ribbon spools from another crafter - I mean a TON! I sorted them all by rainbow order color. THen each color went into a storgae ziploc bag - either 1 gallon or 2.5 gallon. Then i tossed all the baggies into a giant Rubbermaid tub. I keep the tub on my 1-season porch because it doesn't matter if they frreeze or cook. I'm talking about a ton of ribbon spools - and I already donated some! Love the paint stand hack - nifty! Another crafter on youtube stores Stickles size bottles in plastic ice cube trays with the flexible bottoms. cut an 'x' in center, insert bottles upside down. tfs!

The paint caddy is so smart! And putting a color “blob” on the lid is even smarter! I have my paints in a storage bin - why haven’t I done this?!

Hi! Great ideas! Great video, clear speech and directions...and awesome editing! My favorite project is the paint caddy! I love how that was made! I bought the same napkin holders for a shelf that stores my personal grooming products. I keep my BATH AND BODY WORKS lotion tubes stacked in the napkin holder! Ha! I also have another one of the napkin holders near my prayer chair- holding my mini daily devotional books side by side. I use the same silver paper towel holder that you have in your video to store my hair scrunchies and ties! I just stack them over the top. I will be making your paint caddy soon. I was looking for craft storage and organization that wasnt just for stickers and stamps... I do a lot of upcycling crafts, furniture, artwork, etc so this is up my alley. Thank you!!

I love the ideas for storing of craft supplies. Especially using the basket and dowel rods for holding rolls of ribbon.

This is so good and genuinely useful!

Another option for placing things on the wire rack is to use a DT vinyl placemat on top of the wire rack.

We recently created a crafting area for her to store her items. Basically using Cube Storage Units. We will be going to Dollar Tree this morning and see what we can find and use. Pull your ribbon through the holes on the sides of the basket, then you just pull out what you need and cut it off, that way you never need to open it up to get to the ribbon on the bottom:)

Thanks for the video, love the ribbon storage idea! One tip is possibly get knitting needle stoppers (or even rubber pencil end erasers), they could be put on the outside so the dowels don't escape?

My craft room is a disaster so this was is helpful! And loved ribbon idea.

For the ribbons on the dowels, you could thread the tip of the ribbon through the holes in the box organizer. Then you would see all your ribbon.

These are some great ideas Liz! I have my ribbon stored something like that but in smaller bins. I am like you and have soooo much ribbon and paint it’s so hard to see what all I have without digging everything out. Melissa at All things Crafty just got a she shed and she has an awesome paint organizer and she’s supposed to make a video on how to make it out of Dollar Tree products. I’m thinking the wooden crates and trays possibly. But I’m excited to see what she does! If you go watch her video tour of her shed you will see what I’m talking about. 😊💕

Hi Colene! I noticed she gave you a heart but no reply or comment below yours. I scrolled down and she left most people a comment. I thought she came up with the napkin holder paint caddy on her own but if you already made it, then it must be something someone else came up with. Maybe that's why she didn't comment on your thread. Anyway, it's ok to post other peoples projects, just give them the credit. That's how I feel. I always talk about the Lord and give Him Glory so it's rare if any youtuber replies to me. I'm used to it. I get the hearts but rarely get a reply back. You can see my message at the top without a response from her about my ideas. I enjoyed her video and left ideas like she requested. I thought she would be happy about what I shared and say so. I just bought some of the heart tags! My plan is to tie them on my kitchen baskets, not to label what's in them though... but to write praise words or encouragement on them for everyone to read. Such as FAITH, LOVE, JOY, PRAISE THE LORD, Have a "GOD" day and more. I thought they would look great with the natural twine ties too. God bless you both! Lynne 🍃 💜 🍃

The two drawer mini towers (you showed them with the mint bins) work really well attached together in groups to make a table top storage piece. I have 12 attached together (3 tall, 4 wide) and its super helpful to keep small things I use a lot right on hand.

@@tracylee4442 I used e6000 and a bit of hot glue to tack them together while the e6000 dried. I also used blue painter's tape to bind them all together overnight. For the painter's tape I recommend an extra set of hands to hold them steady while you wrap the tape.

This is a really good idea because mine slip all over and you need two hands to hold each one. I really think gluing them together is just the ticket! If only they were still just a buck… lol
