V05 was the go-to back in the day especially the hot oil treatment.

Looks cute! I regularly buy most of my haircare products at dollar tree and I have tried most of them. Here are my findings (btw I’m a straight natural) The vo5 products that I trust are the clarifying shampoo (excellent cleanser doesn’t leave your hair stripped) and the conditioner is pretty good too. I also like the strawberries and cream shampoo and conditioner: it’s very moisturizing. There is this other shampoo and conditioner combo in a big blue bottle and it has argan oil in it….BOMB! The salon selectives deep conditioning is everything. That’s the only deep conditioner I use now. It does go quickly, I get 3 maybe four uses out of it (as you don’t need a lot of product!) I don’t care for the salon selectives heat protective spray. It just felt meh on my hair and I don’t believe it was protecting anything. The finishing oils are OK . I abhor everything in those white colorful containers. The gel flakes up immediately and the leave in I should’ve just rinsed out. There are a few more products I will try from there. I save on shampoos and conditioners and save my coin for my heat protectant sprays and leave ins.

Your hair looks GREAT! I've used V05 shampoo since the 80s. I tell ppl all the time, it's not the products you use, it's the hair you have. The routine trumps the products.

I’m glad you posted this! I think it has a lot to do with your technique (not putting a lot of product in your hair) etc. Now, that doesn’t mean I’m running to the dollar store lol that just means I should be able to work with what I have at home 😂. Thanks girl!

@@NiaraAlexis ‘Thank You’ very much. I am licensed and I, too, seek out various products and tools. I look for dryers with accuracy in drying with less time in blowing hair . I have a 3500 watt and it drys hair proficiently using less time. Again, ‘Thank You’.

It really goes to demonstrate that when you have a curated and tested system for hair health as the foundation of the style, then any product will be fine. Thank you
