I refuse to grow up, still a kid at heart! If you want a real blast from our youth, listen to Hair Nation and Yacht Rock Radio on Sirius XM. That is seriously the best of all the music from our era!
I admired that even though Freddy killed the Dream Warriors of the Dungeon Master boy and Bad Ass girl, it still took courage to stand up and fight him in the first place rather than just run away. Not every Dream Warrior wins, some lose their lives, but their willingness to fight evil still deserves respect.

Here in 2022! My favourite seen in this movie is when this kid who is into old school Dungeons and Dragons is asleep dreaming. Freddie Kruger appears on the seen to get this kid and the kid sprays Freddie with a lightning bolt from his hands. Absolutely hysterical. Harry Potter would be blushing. I would've done exactly the same thing myself. Of course Dokken is one of the great bands of the Age of musical Wizards. Masters in every genre of the time. There will never be another decade that can remotely compare. At this time the world is coming to an end in any case.
The best thing about the 80s, I was young and didn't care, I lived really lived. No politics no fears no problems. Man I miss that!

It was because we were approaching the climax of the Cold War and thought that the world was about to end. So, instead of worrying about material things such as sex, food, and money, we tried to find a higher, transcendent meaning in childish ambition, patriotism, and happy music/films/pop-culture. Teenagers became *king* ! When the USSR collapsed with such a pathetic whimper, it all evaporated. And it has only gone downhill from there.

Heavy metal at its finest. Never gonna sound like that anymore. Pure Heavy pop metal music.
One of the greatest movie outtro of all time!! It left you with a feeling of empowerment like you just took on Freddy and that you are Dream Warrrior!!
This is pure nostalgia for me. I was too young to be into the rock scene in the 80s, but I certainly watched a lot of movies back then. They would always use songs like this in them. The combination of 80s movies and 80s hair metal is just the best sort of comfort food. 🎸🔊🎶
I miss the 80s also. It was great to be alive. If we had only knew it was once in a lifetime. We may enjoy more!!!! Thanks for the memories.
The 80's rock with Dokken. And this song is so awesome 🎶

Well my fellow rock n roll, heavy metallers, the year is 2022 and sadly our brand of music is all but gone!! Our bands are either too old or sadly passed away. 😪 BUT if we keep them alive like this masterpiece!! It will NEVER DIE!! Miss them 80's 😢

Metal got fat and bloated, and we saw it for what it was. It was self indulgent, arrogant, and without substance. Rock stars needing nannies because they can't look after themselves, depressed and drinking because they were so hollow, that once the fame dried up, there really was no substance to their lives. Sad really

As a 90's baby and growing up through the 2000's all the way into my adulthood I appreciate VH1 CLASSIC being on my mini flatscreen. My freshman geography class ('09), we had to write what era would we go back to. I wrote about the 80's because of my love for the metal and hairbands of that time. And the hair! I surprised my peers and my teacher Mr. Martin. I must've named over 20 bands. Only to find out he was a HUGE Dokken fan and would hold me after class to jam out to dokken. He and his wife were the best teachers i ever had all four of those years!!! They even took their babies to a Motley Crue concert. 11 years and ago, it still doesn't seem real...
I remember watching this video back in the 80s on MTV when it first aired.. I didn't even know a 3rd nightmare on elm street was released. Saw the video and that same Night bought tickets to go see it at the theater. I remember standing room only in back of the theatre. All seats sold out. The crowd was pumped and cheering. It was awesome times. Still a Dokken fan today. And love the nightmare movies.
