This song gives me the vibes of "fighting a losing battle" At the calm beginning, it gives you the thought of a possible good outcome, but it then flips itself entirely, making you slowly feel more and more desperate to win But little do you know, this is not your game to win, there is no good outcome, the game was already taken over by "corruption" and despair. And at the end, it gives you the feeling of the end, that you lost, no matter how hard you tried. Its game over. (also another thing i wanna mention about the ending, not everyone is dead, but in a way it makes it worse. Bf is left alone in the club to cry over the now dead gf, and as we see from the ending "boyfriend.xml cannot be found" or whatever, means that he ended up resorting to suicide. Monika on the other hand is left broken, she couldnt save them and we know that she possibly saw them die one by one, and monika is left stuck in despair and guilt, thinking its her fault.)

That’s it this describes the entire mod overall a losing battle and the feelings that are shown not just in this one song but the whole mod is why DDTO/DDTO Bad ending is my favorite mod.

@@Bobplushie666 It does, but the Matt$ (the composer for Stagnant) said this in a code when he teased the song: "Hello? Am I coming through clearly? Monika... she left us here to die. This game, it isn't... "stable" without her. I don't know how much longer I can hold the literature club together..." So the game can't exist without Monika.

Nothing was explicitly shown, but I think I've figured out how Boyfriend died. After Girlfriend dies, when BF freaks out and seemingly loses his eyes the same way Natsuki does (there's no animation for it, but his eyes are covered and his hands have blood on them), he appears to be pulling on his own chest. And, when we go into the notebook, BF appears to have a big ol' wound on his chest. He didn't just kill himself. He quite possibly *ripped out his own heart.*

The start is just incredible. Starts from sad-like feeling into complete madness and scary then it ends up all of them singing as they're all hopeless.

This is the embodiment of "I've gone insane".

welcome home =) but seriously, this is the best track in the bad end ost in my opinion! its so stressful and powerful comared to the other two. you see natsuki rip her eyes out, gf die, bf go crazy, and all the others in the final cutscene giving a send off before they die and have their... BAD END

When I saw the name I thought at first that this was gonna be something with Natsuki complaining about her dad beating her which she said during a glitch text in DDLC Act 2. This took a whole twist on my expectations. In fact: THIS IS A BANGER!!! This exceeded my expectations in a way I did not even know existed! I'm not really the biggest Natsuki fan but this is absolutly nuts. I really can't wait for the DDTO+ release! Hot Air Balloon which was revealed as a teaser was already a banger but I can't wait to see what other stuff there is in store for DDTO+!!!

The fact that ALL THREE songs give off vibes of "The Trollge Files/The Blueballs Incidents", Doomsday, and other similar songs and mods astounds me. There's not "joking" around or "Serious turned silly" in this mod and I respect that immensely. They went all out and it's beautiful, but also heartbreakingly sad. Well done to everyone who did this mod. :)

As someone who suffered as natsuki's pain such as abuse. I hate my dad sometimes and i honestly can relate to her. the title explains it a lot. HOME.

I love all of the songs but my favorites is stagnant and this one. This'll sound edgy but these really capture that feeling of hopelessness, helplessness, misery, and despair. Without any lyrics either which is crazy. Basically to me it's essentially what a fight with depression feels like. The "happy thoughts" part of stagnant is super accurate to this, and the sprites in that part really hit the nail on the head. Especially at 1:56 where they're just singing out their immense pain. I wish I could make my own mod inspiried by this one if my computer wasn't an absolute toaster.

This was my favorite song, and I can't believe I didn't even realize you were the person behind it! This is amzing!

I have to assume this is me reading too deep into it, but the reference to "Your Reality" present in each song is the clearest and most straightforward in this song. I like to imagine it's because this end is more accurate to the game than any of the others.

This is such an absolutely amazing song unlike Stagnat (which had a ,,misery begins" feeling to itself) and Markov (which just had a simple showdown fell to itself), this song is bassicly ,,telling that it's game over, it's all destroyed now and there is nothing you can do about it at this point" feel

If i remember correctly the character files dont get deleted when characters die so the last one alive must have deleted the files.

How I describe this song mods. Stragnant: Depression and anxiety. You cover your face with a fake smile when it's not how you feel. (That's why the song change to be sad to happy all the time.) Markov: Despair with a uncomfortable feeling. You feel uncomfortable because of Yuri's obssession, makes you feel dirty, but all the same time you want to save her, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗬𝘂𝗿𝗶 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. (A feeling of some players have, including me.) Home: Adrenaline. You don't know what to do, everyone is going insane, you feel like your head is going to blow but for some reason 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲. (The same of Yuri, you want to call for help but you can't, you can just sit and see how everyone is going crazy.) If you know the references you know

I feel Home reflects strugling and fighting to leave an abxsive environment and losing the battle against your abxsers

The charting for this song is pretty easy at the start. But the climax is probably the hardest section to full combo. Stagnant has pretty much the easiest chart in the mod due to how slow it is and most of it are just hold notes. Meanwhile, markov's chart is tough if you are not paying attention.

The official mod implies Boyfriend ended himself out of grief due to the game itself not having found his character (Boyfriend.xml not found), which ultimately caused its termination. If he had been found, the game likely would've either restarted but in a very broken state because the game needed all of its native club members to function, and Boyfriend would end himself shortly... or terminated itself anyway, with the horrible addition of giving him a much more painful end...

... What if this is the outcome after Epiphany? Sure, this is an alternative route, but we don't know where Epiphany is situated. Also, that Monika was deleted at the end of Epiphany, doesn't mean the others are back or wasn't deleted. Give it a little thought about it.

This is the outcome after Obsession, if Monika wasn’t able to get back into DDLC, which can be seen in the trailer for the Bad Ending / starting cutscene in the mod itself.

In ddto+ tha game delete monika every time we play epiphany, and monika tell us that are the player Who save monika from the recicle bin, That means Epiphany a song of ddto, not from ddto bad ending, And, Its true, The Bad ending is after the song Obssesion
