I love how she’s so neutral and also punk rock about her music all at the same time. Staying out of politics is so healthy. This era has become so bizarre and obsessive and I’m so thankful she is against the ones that say “mother” and “queen” she’s sick of all of the filler BS in the world and that’s badass.

What she said about people using insecurities and vulnerabilities against her is so real and raw. And they wonder why celebrities want to distance themselves from fame and social media fan fare. Last night was my first time ever seeing Doja live.. I left speechless. I saw Britney Spears live at her peak. I’ve seen Beyoncé multiple times- (never thought anyone would outperform her). I’ve seen Billie Eilish multiple times. I’ve seen Rihanna. I can name so many artists I’ve seen in concert throughout my life and I never left the building like I did last night. She was just magical to watch- her voice, her dancing skills, the visuals… just incredible! Doja absolutely put on the best show I’ve seen since Ye at Yeezus tour in the same building- the United Center.

Ah yes.. another idiot who thinks entertainment is art... nothing they do is art. Art is preserved and studied.. people won't remeber her at all in 5 years if she still alive.

Been a fan since I saw “Go to town” when it came out and I have loved her ever since, no matter what she’s done. I see her being fully herself all along thru the rollercoaster of fame and I absolutely respect and appreciate that. And that’s what’s an actual fan does.

She seems so relaxed and more confident in herself. I wish i could be her friend in real life or meet her.

This is a very important interview. Maybe Doja's simply expressing herself, but she's motivating a lot of artists watching this, too. I never even knew she was this inspirational and intelligent... wow!

This is my absolute favorite interview I’ve ever seen her on. I’ve loved her since her hot pink era and been loving her even more since the dawn of the scarlet era where does whatever she wants however she wants and seeing her take the time now to clear up things she didn’t even need to clear up and really get into how her brain works shows how much she cares and how passionate she is about her craft. A true icon.

"I an way too f*cking famous and I'm doing what I can to separate myself from what I built." Incredible. More celebs should feel that way. She's not saving the world nor does she have any desire too. I'm glad she isn't looking to people please and explain. She also isn't looking to be worshipped. She just wants to make music and put on a good show and from videos I've seen she has done her job.

There's not that many really great live performers in this generation of artists. Doja Cat is defo one of the better ones, regardless of what you think about her outside of music.

I think she is coming better and better all the time, the more she gets the feeling of freedom, not just pleasing people. I like her voice, her talking voice is also so soothing, she would sound good with a small band, like Amy Winehouse and Sade had, their bands, she can handle the stage alone, her presence is, there is just one of a kind of her. She is so young still she has all the time in the world to do what she wants. She has the perfect voice for jazz music.

her artistry and work ethic reminds me a lot of lady gaga. both are two insanely creative artists

Honestly this lady is something else. I appreciate her movements. How conscious she is about public life and how she's one definition of "making the job work for you." No one is perfect and I appreciate that too.

I just love her vulnerability and rawness. She’s not afraid to talk about what bothers her and i hope people realize that these celebrities are actual humans that go through same and sometimes worse than most of us do.

It's good to hear her speak genuinly about herself & the silly things people are saying about her. She is very gifted & I love what she does. ❤

I just loved to take a deep dive in her thoughts on the album/art/career. What a inspiring interview. I love how she's commited to be unapologetic and authentic, and she's really taking the wheel of her work. And I respect so much how she's setting boundaries and not playing along with the fandom culture.

Dope interview, definitely feels like we did get to know her better as a person. I respect her semi rant at the end about giving no thanks to those who put her on a pedestal or place her above others... that shows doja's maturity and respect for music as artistry.

I appreciate that she sees the truth in things and isn't afraid to say "hey guys, its not that serious, its not worth so much energy and hate"

Saw her in Nebraska and it was so friggin good. Blown away. She inspires me so much as a female producer/lyricist myself. EDIT: Also wanna say, as someone who’s posted on social media and received a lot of unexpected hate comments and backlash..I had a near downward spiral. I couldn’t imagine dealing with the amount of attention she gets and i totally get the attitude of keeping business and personal life separate. Props to her

I feel you! I kept an ig account for my business and I absolutely hated having so many followers. I’m so pleased I decided to no longer bother with keeping up our social media presence- was exhausting having to please people all the time. 😮‍💨

10:25 I think Doja so justified in what she said here. She doesn't have to explain herself to anyone, and the people who actually care already know what her intentions are, anyone who it needs it be explained to probably isn't interested in listening anyway. There are some people who just want something to be angry about.

Doja is honestly one of the best and most unique musicians around. She deserves the success she's getting!!!
