Doja Cat: 'Planet Her,' Natural Chemistry with Ariana Grande and the Power of "Woman" | Apple Music
Музыка
Doja Cat sits down with Ebro Darden to discuss her new album, ‘Planet Her’ and talk about the influences in her life that have shaped her musical career. Starting out on Soundcloud from her childhood bedroom, Doja’s out-of-the-box style has given her ultimate creative freedom. ‘Planet Her’ transcends traditional rap styles and pop influences with tracks like “Woman,” “I Don’t Do Drugs” featuring Ariana Grande, and “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA.

In this moment, I get the feeling that Doja Cat is becoming one of the greats. She pointed out Michael Jackson and Prince, and I already feel as though she is elevating to that level. Her voice alongside SZA and Ariana Grande demonstrates her singing ability. Let’s not forget how the recent live performances highlight her music production and skill in dance. With the release of Planet Her, it has established Doja Cat, creating a vision for success comparable to her idols. Can't wait to see what she does next!

I really enjoyed Ebro's interview style, he didn't speak over Doja or ask her dumb questions that most female artists get stuck with. He seemed genuine in listening to her and just adding in little bits here and there. Such a breath of fresh air.
Doja Cat has some of the best interviews. They ask her meaningful and deep questions and she answers with intelligence. She can turn off and on her sense of humor and be mature and respectable when needed. I just keep getting more impressed by her. I appreciate also the respect that these interviwers show her. She is the only artist that has made be interested in her creative process and the team behind her success. I follow her team and I am impressed with all that they do and how well Doja and them work as a team. I can hear her talk about her process all day long. I wish a 2 hour documentary was made for every album release of doja cat.
ALBUM OF THE YEAR So many different genres and styles here, all of them are great and perfect thank u Doja ☺️
She is someone that made me realize that charting isn't everything. At first, I used to think that if the debut album didn't hit No.1, you aren't going to be successful. Amala was at 468 and Hot Pink at No.2 this is her time now. She didn't let the hate get to her and her efforts are finally coming through. I love Planet Her and it has one of the best songs of all time.

I remember a good friend of mine telling me look up Doja Cat, your going to love her. And one of the first songs of hers I heard was "Go to town" and I feel in love with her music ever since. She's intentional and playful, fun and unserious/but serious at the same time. There really is no one, no one at all on the market like her. Not only that but her online presence is something new that just sort of mash ups being an internet personality and a real celebrity all at the same time, and I've never seen that before. She is like a new standard. And Im out here cheering her on. I've got planet her on repeat, and on every Playlist there seems to be at least a few of her songs sprinkled in there. I really cannot wait to see where she goes from here, and am always excited to hear the next new stories and persona's she's going to create.

Like I was about to say..... Doja's just one of those artist's...... who doesn't realize how talented or loved she is. That was a good question by Ebro because she really DOESN'T get it. She just loves making music, bringing joy & being happy.... literally this is who she is. BORN ARTIST. Too humble, too creative, too talented, too funny, too real. And it's actually NATURAL. GENUINE. NOT A FRONT. THIS IS JUST HER. ALL THE TIME. When I say I'm proud to be a Doja fan & so extremely proud OF her, I can't express it enough or say it enough.
