I also think Doja makes people uncomfortable because people try to put her in a box… and she CANNOT be put in a box! She is outside the box, creative and amazing! I love that she described feeling beautiful without hair. Beauty comes in many forms and she is empowered with her hairstyle and that’s great! I buzzed my hair off about 10 years ago and also got similar backlash on a smaller scale. Crazy how people think they can treat you like garbage over something so trivial. Really showed me who the real people in my life were. Some family members did not make the cut unfortunately. Good for her standing up for herself. She's wonderful on all levels.

There are smarter or more subtle ways to do this without being so drastic, and possibly alienating some of your fanbase. I know Doja has ADD and people inflicted with this act irrational at times when they're not under treatment. Ask Mariah who came out a year or so ago to admit it.

I could tell that it wasn't because she was going "crazy" she simply just wanted to do something fun and different. But its really sweet that she clarified for people who were worried. 💓

People are probably shocked because she changed so drastically from hyper femenine to going bald and going for a more dark femenine aesthetic, also the fact that all of this happened around the time she said she would quit music. I do think that she is just expressing herself the way she wants to and wants the respect she deserves as an artist, especially as a rapper. She can do anything as long as she's happy and healthy. No one should be commenting on what she should look or act like.

I didn't even know people were concerned until I read her comments, she's always been the quirky artistic type, her posts have always had a hint of fever dream like energy and that's what I enjoy about her. Ironically I think the fact that people think she's not normal now means that they've idolized her as a sex symbol with longer hair rather than noticing that she's always going to want to change things up. I'm happy people are checking on her because most people don't do that until it's too late. That's because there are way too many gullible people out there. Her relatively new management hasn't really invested enough time in trying to understand the kind of person she is, and that's just adding to her frustration. I also stand firmly in saying that she suffers from ADD like so many people out there. I think this last incident with that DM backlash pushed her to do this.

I find it interesting that most of her controversies are just her not being afraid to stick up for herself in any situation, but people not liking the way she does it because they’re used to most celebrities being more “controlled”. After all, the game of public image is just saying things in a way that most people will stay on your side.

It's cleansing to strip away the excess, taking it all the down to the roots - to the spirit of who YOU are. We, as women in general, do processes to our hair that cause damage. And we carry that damage around like a bag lady. It's hair and the magic of hair is, it grows back, fresh, natural, new, and healthy - that in itself is symbolic, like rebirth. Coming from a person who literally shares Doja's birthday, this ain't normal behavior. She is exhausted, I feel for her, seriously it's not the vanity or cosmetic changev that concerns me it's hey energy and comparing her to her former self, I can see the industry is beginning to hollow her out. Why do people hold so much value in hair? I shaved my head and I feel very free! The best thing I ever did for MYSELF. It takes courage not to care what anyone feels about your choices. Being comfortable in your own skin is the best feeling ever. Mad props Doja!

She looks so beautiful but if people are so concerned with her eyebrows lol I promise they will grow back and she's so amazing and sane it just amazes me that just because she changed her hairstyle doesn't mean anything!!!

I love Doja, she always seems so funny, so down to earth, genuine and chill. The fact that her hair being shaved and her eyebrows being gone being the reason why people think she’s not OK is absolutely ridiculous. It really lets you know how much peoples looks contribute to peoples opinions of how they’re doing mentally. I think she looks absolutely beautiful with hair and without it, I admire women who can shave their head and still feel beautiful, I think that is empowering as fuck. I think she is one of the best artist out there right now and I love her vibe. ☀️ Truly hope she never changes how weird she is because that’s why I fell in love with her in the first place. I don’t see why people assume someone who changes their hair is unwell. The hair change wasn’t that sudden either, she even tried the look with a wig before she actually shaved it, and shaving eyebrows has become popular lately especially in creative makeup communities so they can do any shape or style they want. Same old Doja ❤️

It really trips me out to see people judge somone they don't know. I get that their lives are no where near as awesome as Doja's, but If you're truly a fan then you need to be respectful and supportive of Doja. Treat others the way you want to be treated

I lost all my hair at 44 and my wife of 20 years left me . I wouldn’t have known that’s who she was until that happened. It was hard, and for Doja to do this for reactions and maybe to see who her real friends and fans are is encouraging especially for people people like me . ❤u doja

Right , Doja is different she’s fashion , the whole time while shaving , she was posing , she’s a whole superstar 😍🔥
