Honestly, i'm surprised you havent started making guides on how to use and setup SpecialK. It deals with everything this guide does plus makes everything much easier to monitor and setup. Their Latency Sync tech is superior to any other sync method, hands down (even better than scanline sync).

Quick tip with RTSS, if you have the game running, you can hold the left ctrl key while clicking add, and it'll show a list of all graphical applications currently open. Then you can just select the game exe there. Just a slightly faster/easier method

With the undervolt + capping the fps, your power and temperature is down. So if it is summer your pc can run more cooler for longer. For esport games cap it to monitor refresh rate and AAA titles cap it to 50-60 fps for a smooth single player title.

Being bottlenecked by a 75hz monitor isnt that bad, i use RTSS to cap my frames at 70fps and i also overclocked my GTX1650 Super OC by +150 core clock and +525 memory clock. Most my games run stable at 70fps, including Tarkov and Arma 3 (depending on server of course). Also i use gsync+fastsync instead of gsync+vsync on some titles that has doublerendering issues, most noticeable is Tarkov, which locks your FPS to exactly half the refresh rate of your monitor when using scopes on distances, no matter what your FPS cap is if gsync+vsync is enabled.

Panjno thanks for the awesome vids. I have a 144hz monitor and the game feels really choppy when it is uncapped. Should I cap it at 141hz and enable Freesync on monitor? Or should i keep it capped at 144hz without turning on Freesync? I am getting higher than 144hz 95% of the time.

this an old comment but freesync only helps with screen tearing, for me personally it feels better without it but alot more screen tear, this could be different for others experiencing.

I should be shamed by myself. Using Afterburner for a long time now and never get in touch with that great rivatuner tool which I see of course running in my tray. I always thought it´s more a "bypass" Tool for Afterburner. So many thanks for another top opt Tutorial. Always useful. I have with my RTX 3060 Ti a lot to do in many games when it comes to the top and finding out what are the best settings in Control Panel for the specific game. I helped myself by globally set vsync on and cap every game at 60 fps. Now I will first overclock my GPU with your previous Video and than I go on to work by optimize every single game I have.

@@zproxiimiity7733 Honestly, the Guide seems more useful for Users with a Monitor. For me on an 4k TV I always, really always in every game I have that annoying tear screaning. I tried all the solutions about "smoother" gameplay but when I disable vsync in my Nvidia control Panel or at least logging my fps not to 60 fps I get this awful tear screaning. IDK how about you other Users with an 4 TV and 60 Hz, but it´s always over the years with all of my 4k TV´s. I know the difference. I owned a 144 Hz Monitor last year and the tear screaning was gone and I was able to use more Hz and more fps without it. Unfortunetly I can´t handle the downgrade by Size considered to an 65 ° Zoll Tv. So yeah that´s why I arranged me with an vsync Life. I would really wonder if someone with same specs of his 4k TV runs smoother all of his games by not using vsync. For me it´s the only method to run my games smooth. Maybe someday I have money for an HDMI 2.1 Tv with 120 Hz and can achieve more than vsync logged with 60 fps, but for now not possible. Some People will say your 4k TV is to cheap for more. Could be an reason, yeah.

Hello, thanks for your tutorial. I decided to replay one old game and I did the same with the FPS cap. So Maxed out all settings and getting around 130-190 FPS and 5,5 frametimes and i feel good response from mouse to my monitor. So i capped my game at 115 FPS and now im having about 16 frametimes and horrible delay between my mouse and actual action in my game. Any ideas why this happened only when i cap my games? I would be really appreciated for any suggestion

It's always nice watching your videos. It's just odd now how MSI makes it almost impossible to find MSI AB these days if you were just looking for it on your own now. So for those who had never downloaded it before it's best to just use the link in the video description!

If you use rivatuner do you need to delete GeForce experience? Which tuner overrides the others? For example I have optimised game setting it the past using GeForce experience, if I use nvidia control panel or rivatuner will they all conflict with each other

Panjno I have seen alot of youtube videos about optimise pc, but its always yours there fix stuf, and easy to follow.. The last weeks i have tryet to solve my GPU hickups, they was driving me nuts, i had tryet all kind of thinks, and watch alot of crappy youtube videos, nothing helps. But i have not tryet this, and it seems to have fixed the GPU hickups! Im loking forvert to try it out in other games. Only tryet it out in War Thunder, I set it to max 125fps on my 144hz monitor, it seems so stupid -19fps solvet my problem LoL.. Thanks Panjno you are the best!

@Panjno Ok im still got small GPU hickups. not as much like before but still, the GPU % falls some time from lets say 80% to 45%, and make i lag a little in a sek or 2, Any one got a solution?? Can it be something like Pre rendering frame time, it is set right now to 1?? Or what can it be there makes it do it??

Great video I found best performance on my RX5600xt 6gb which are known for having unstable performance and black screen hard lock to download latest AMD drivers but use the advanced install options and only install the drivers not Adrenaline software then as mentioned install MSI afterburner and Rivatuner on the first page of MSI afterburner settings use the AMD disable ULPS then setup a fan curve. Then in Rivatuner I set the frame limiter to 75% of my monitor refresh rate.
