Doing the hard yards
With one dog caught, it seemed that the valley had gone quiet, simply too quiet. Ever trapline can have a period where you have to do the hard yards. Read the sign, improve your set patterns and enjoy your time in the bush, it will all come together.

I have watched a ton of your video's and I hit the like on every one now before I even watch them. I LOVE your rant on the stupid electric cars, 100% spot on!! That's not the only thing I Like about your content. You are a true man at heart. Thank you for taking me with You.

I appreciate that
Not insulted in any way, shape or fashion by your comment on the hypocritical, "all knowing", dummies. 100% in agreement with you! Best wishes from the UK. 🇬🇧🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺
I'm just like everyone else that comments i love watching your videos Clark, i don't comment much on anyone's videos. But i did think early in the piece it was a railway line on your left before the electric car food came past, that dog at 2.56 point looked pretty big in the trap before you shot it. I have a bit more time now to be able to watch more of your content, so I've been having a bit of a binge in the last couple of days. Absolutely love your dogs Clark there good fellow's no favourites, yes there is skunk.
Hit the nail on the head, we’re definitely on your team.

I’ve watched every one of your videos now mate keep up the awesome work mate the knowledge you have is awesome to see and learn from for future endeavours
Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Proud to be on your team
Got to admire your take on electric car food. At my age I feel like I’m in a B grade movie ‘ circle the wagons we’re surrounded by f…… idiots’
Love the content and the passion your bringing back in me to get back out and get some brackets in the ground. I share many of your beliefs on treatment of pests and natives. I do miss the trapping game of chess.
Just love watching your videos and greatly admire your close relationship with your dogs and your appreciation of nature in general. As a rural boy myself, I would ask if you ever considered trailing something behind your buggy that would brush out traces of old tracks. That way you could get a much better take on what had passed along the trail since you last were there.

Most times I am dragging an old hide to give a scent trail so that works fine.
Love your vids Clark and listening to you talk. God bless you and your family mate.
Hi Clark, A 1ml drill bit is the answer to that problem. Make sure it is a new one so it goes in easy. Either that or heat up a piece of wire and hit the black spot. Cheers, Jim
You can’t beat straight forward Aussie speak 😂😂💪
I really enjoyed how you explained your reasoning and instruction on setting the traps. Your conservation mind set is a good balance for trapping.
Keep up the good work Clark one dog at a time
Love the words of wisdom you gave about the "electric vehicle food" and associated similar thought process drongos. As always, your videos are entertaining, thought provoking and pretty truthful. Sadly, many people are taken in by our crazy media hoopla and political correctness bullshit.
On your team mate.

Some of the chemicals used will kill any/every animal or insect that comes close. Grow your own from heritage seeds, use different herbs to repel insects.

Bloody tough job you do mate, physically and mentally, a job you need to be in a good head space, thanks for another interesting video
Hey Clark, ive been watching your videos for a bit now. I look forward to your videos every Tuesday. I dont get out much. It feels like you are going a long for the ride when you check your traps. I have learned alot from your videos i didn't even know. Love seeing your dogs. They make me smile. I lost my best mate two weeks ago due to someone poisoning him. I bottle feed him from a week old. You have a lovely rest of the week. And a lovely weekend too.🙂👍

I know nothing about dingos but we dealt with coydogs in the 90s on our beef ranch. The coydogs were bigger, smarter, and meaner than the native coyote population. So long as they were around most of the coyotes would stay away. We hunted and trapped for a year solid until we killed them all. 60 or so coydogs.
Good work team
Lovely Job
I hear ya brother, all tucker goes down the same way , blemished or not. Trouble is nowadays people are concerned more about aesthetics and are ignorant about what it is that they’re actually eating.
Well said 🤗
Clark, great comments, mate. We have so many twats around us. 🙏🇦🇺👍
On your team
❤ your words on electric cars
1 down is better than none. i like the fact you only ever use a .22 when dispatching each Dog, no need for over kill so no pun intended..
Haha 07:15 + 👍 Yep, electric car food and blemish free lentils, they want their perfect little world.
I have found a white hot needle through finger nail releases pressure should it come to that, l bet you do that.
Sounds like a job for the hot paper clip to drain the blood later.
Hi Clark , been watching your videos for a while to try and learn how to trap dog , I live on a property with a known dog problem and am interested in having a go at trapping them , but don’t want to “educate dogs , but rather educate myself “ . Do you have a video on your “ tools of the trade “? Ie what you take on a daily mission ? Would like to see what to take and what not to take etc . Cheers

Righto, will work on that. Most is included, piece by piece in my clips
thanks Clark. Now why do you shoot the dogs from inside your vehicle?
@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry

I usually try to set along tracks so you can check traps without getting out and leaving scent on the ground. The dogs also stay far calmer if they just see the vehicle and not the person

Under 20 degrees, batteries lose most of their efficiency.... To make the change to all electric we will need 1000% increase in mining, etc etc etc. Wake up to yourself.

Skunks last pigs, captured for posterity. Rest easy old fella. I remember a doco that showed on ferral cat eat 80 native animal in a week? If thats true those dam things do a lot of damage in Aussie y'all
Ah the language the blacksmiths dog understands ( he makes a bolt for the door ) 😂 and as for electric cars , the mining of lithium and the disposal of the bloody stuff ' it causes land pollution air pollution ' but it's better for the planet, well folks my jury is still out on that one , we were in a diesel pick up the other night and crossed a road that floods after heavy rain and guess what was stuck in the middle of it " yep a brand new french electric job , think they found out there car is not that keen on water . 🙈
Ive been saying the same thing about electric vehicles for ages plus what is going to happen to all the toxic batteries in them they aren't recyclable?
@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry

Every single part of an electric vehicle/wind turbine/solar panel, is made with the use of coal and oil, without those two fossil fuels, they cannot exist. Every part of our lives, ever the fly-ash in our concrete, everything. The lie is so big, even the liars are starting to believe it.
Say Clark could you get an underwriter or insurance agency to write you a business policy, covering your recreational hunting operation, no matter who owns the properties you may take clients out on? Perhaps this, your own coverage plan, in conjunction with a well written contract alleviating landowners from all liability may just solve this issue that's sidelining your guiding career. Find a way!!!
@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry
11 ай бұрын
We can do that for sure. One quote we got was for $30K-$50K pa. Any policy less simply would not cover a multi property business. Those operating on a single property for example seem to be in the range of $12K to $20K pa. This cost must then be passed onto our hunters, who are reluctant to pay the excess. For example, if we took out 2 hunters per week for 25 weeks of the year, insurance for vehicles (commercial) plus PL would put close to $1000 on top of every hunter without any guarantee it would work if crunch time came. If we advertise as doing guided hunts, what legislation are we working under? Pest control? Are we hunting or pest controlling? Read the legislation including the ACP Act. Crazy stupid stuff.

@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry Obviously pest control and those clients/employees of yours, put them on your business payroll, part time minimum wage of course. Nice fellas they are, always leave an envelope behind when their work detail is complete.
Good on ya clark, all these dip shit vegans and environmentalists that sit behind a computer complaining about the environment, wouldn't have a clue what goes on out on properties and areas that you work, good on ya buddy, and keep the good vids coming 👌👌
Offended? Not a tiny little bit; I know where my food comes from.
Comming across as a little bitter their Clarke, especially after yesterday's rant, if we didnt have electric cars, woke rich people wouldn't have anything to spend their money on? Why don't you trap those ranges to elimiate the breeders? Last time i was in Aussie, y'all had a massive wild dog aerial baiting program going. I drove from the Queensland boarder to the Gulf and there was wild dog baiting all that way. I heard so many stories in the pubs i stayed in about how bad the dogs had become?
