The iq for it is actually deeper then this, you leave the box on one survivor. Prox your chain hunt on the other three. Focus one, then rinse and repeat. You save the survivor holding the box as last priority, because they’re facing constant harass worse then the others with chain hunt. The point of pin is to harass all survivors at the same time People are focusing the full aggro aspect, instead of the mind game aspect he’s based upon. Once you prox the full chain hunt, that’s when you begin full aggro. That’s why he has tele and range, to hit all survivors without need for immediate chase at all times

@@johnkyl123 ***against good survivors***, pinhead without the passive literally cant end chases, he's just a basic 115 no power killer because the m2 is a negative in chases without the random chains attacking, now obviously the mayority of survivors are shit so it doesnt matter, but if you chase that 1 good survivor while another is holding the box you have better luck holding W than using the power

@@Chris____. Right but that’s what I’m referencing is most games, that’s the iq. You hardly ever find a full lobbys of good survivors and if you do, you still won’t need to apply much effort because of how easily pinhead is to setup. For example, most people I see try to chase with his chains from behind instead of predict forward survivor movement and then place tele with chain to be right on top of them which locks them for strike with no chase. Instead of chase, tele makes up for movement. If you can’t apply it nicely, then that’s a personal problem you see. That’s his kit so you shouldn’t play if you can’t learn to precisely hit tele chain. It’s necessary for pin. My full application though is that people try to focus too much aggro in dfd, rather then predictive setup as killer. Setup is what guarantees win every time 10 to none. Pinhead isn’t a chase killer as you said it’s clear from his basic 115 ms, that’s why his kit is to harass then strike with unpredictability. Survivors shouldn’t be able to predict your play as pin

It seems to show the person who has the cube on the UI on the side. Shows it as the yellow box outline around his survivor picture. Not entirely sure if it shows it to the other survivors but I'd wager it does; otherwise that UI element is conpletely useless.

Me and another Survivor did this last night with Prove Thyself, and it really messed up Pinhead. PT kept the gen progress going at a steady rate, even with the constant hooks. Of course, all it takes for him to get around that is to bring Discordance...

It's already bad enough lol, the guy took 90 seconds to finish a gen that was already 25% done, a gen from 0 to 100% takes 80 seconds normally, a gen from 25% to 100% would take 60 sec instead took 90 sec.

@@R4in46 The killer holdin the box can CC all survivos on chains and reveal them for a short while but the survivor upon solving the puzzle well you can tunel the survivor with "ease" its a 50/50 but the box tp its way better than a short cc and vision idk it depends on the playstyle of each killer

@@hinney827 Wrong, solving it gives benefits so holding it is not only allowing the killer power to harass your team it is also harassing you so much that if you were to do a gen you'll take 50% longer.

So, you can take the cube and other survs won't be harassed by passive chains. In return you can't hear Pin's terror radius and being harassed by chains. It's totally worth it if you're not on indor map. They really should make the cube trigger killer's instinct when survivor has it or make chains still harass whole team.

Pinhead getting the cube isn't even really a part of his power. It's just an optional reward in case you happen to find it, since he can't even see the cube's aura. Besides, I doubt anyone is going to want to stay oblivious for the rest of the match while constantly being harassed by chains. It's just common sense.

Also different from plague or old twins, pinhead box is a extra part of his power, since he can see the box aura without add-ons, also if the survivor with the box gets downed, he drop the box, so the killer could use it, without needing to find it around the map

Hmmm dead mans switch comes to mind, they stop, entity blocks gen, gen aura turns white, you now know where they are. I mean, dead mans is usually a meh perk, but since they cant drop the box, they either must solve it (and reveal themselves anyway) or the box forces deadmans to activate if they try to repair a gen, atleast they wouldnt be able to hold the box hostage in a sense!
