I am astounded that people realize how predictable Clarkson is and still can't wait to hear it. Watching the videos of him and Hammond, you basically know what they're going to say before they say it. Never been a fan of that, but then again, successful people can only be successful because of sheep loving being sheep.

that's the point in a bugatti you don't need to be a racing driver with countless world wide titles to reach that speed you just need to know how to steer and accelerat hard enough ...(i think they are trying to promote this idea to rival cars such as agera and ... those i think are little bit hard to reach 400 in...)

the car is subtle in even such a high speed. what an insulation of noise from engine man!! at 260 mph, there is almost no sound in the cockpit. Hats off

When he brakes at 240 kmh it looks like 80. Crazy.

@@MIKEK3NT Yes but just like on the Veyron they still lock the (real) top speed up because the tire wouldn't resist long and could cause a catastrophic explosion.

This is fault of camera crew and editing guys , Believe me ,i know that these guys aren't energetic as the old ones , but editing and sounds of w16 makes huge difference

Why would a rival car company be allowed to use another's track? Ever heard of a boxer or mma fighter use their opponents gym? What about sport teams using the same facility for practice at other teams?

@@d4rmp01g3 261MPH/60 = 4.35 Miles per minute. 4.35/60 = 0.0725‬ Miles per second. 0.0725‬/1 = 13.33 seconds per mile Seems right to me.

It's funny how stupid people who compare Koenigsegg to Bugatti are. Are you even aware of how stupid you are? How stupid it is to compare luxurious, refined, comfortable, safe, stable, easy to drive, reliable, etc. Bugatti that can do EVERYTHING a luxury GT car should, to the loud, unrefined, uncomfortable, unstable, scary, etc. Koenigsegg? Let me put it this way. You can fly at 800 km/h in a luxury private Jet, or in an open cabin propeller plane. Guess which one is which.

BeyerT1 it is unfair to compare the cars, konigseggs are supposed to be fast. They are not unrefined or of any lower quality. But they’re only meant to be fast. Not luxurious. The Bugatti is meant to do both. Koniggsegs are faster but they don’t come close to Bugatti’s in combining luxury and speed. The funniest part is that the people who own either will have more respect for the other than their own because of how great these machines are, and the fact that 99% of the people taking sides will never even own more than a corolla. And compared to that, the 5 mile an hour speed difference of a Bugatti and a konigsegg, don’t matter, nor do their opinions. Both are amazing in their own right, neither is better or worst than the other.

actually when james may tested the veyron supersport after his run the bugatti test driver managed a 437km/h but they calculated the average top speed of three runs which was like 420 i guess ...,so with no doubt this can get close to 450 with good conditions and a bugatti test driver .

I took a nap while he was auctioning the speed 😅😅

The color spec on this Chiron is outrageously beautiful

I saw one live just a few days ago driving near Lake Zurich, I immediately recognised it by the day time lights. Two youngish early 30's guys driving around. Must be nice to be able to afford one of these. If I had that sort of money , I would get the GEMERA instead of this though.
