Dogville was my introduction to Von Trier as well! Since then I've seen Breaking the waves, Antichrist, Dancer in the dark, Melancholia and Riget, and they've all been fantastic.

Someone gave me this movie (2008) and told me: “this movie is you!” And I put it somewhere, some months after the “beautiful present” I watched it and woke him up to ask him why? He told me “you are American, you represent America” and I shocked ... After this we used to go to movies every day, I worked a little and we had all the time to enjoy films... so I enjoyed scenes from a marriage by Bergman, we loved Von Trier’s films, we watched: dreamers, the darkest side of the heart, goodbye Lenin, the fall... le scaphandre et le papillon...4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days... We read a lot, he smoke and I had 20 coffees per day... He became my whole life, we laughed, we read, we had coffee, we loved... we watched films, we read Kundera, Cioran, Nietzsche, Borges, Benedetti, Garcia Márquez... once and over again.. He passed away.

I assume you are talking about Nymphomaniac, a movie he made 8 years ago now. Either way I highly doubt an artist of his calibre would care about the opinion of some sheltered little christian virgin loser like you. Go watch a Gaspar Noe film kid
