I’ve got a Schipperke & they call the “little black devils”. They look like a miniature black fox 🦊 crossed with a miniature black wolf 🐺 with a fruit bat 🦇 thrown in. He is my treasure. Plus I’ve always adored black dogs & calico cats. However I also had a handicapped blue furred cat with green eyes who was truly an earth angel. Love everything you do!!!!

@@b.2221 my Cane Corso is 4 1/2 years old and there isn't a day that goes by that I'm thankful for my dog. My CC's best friend was our cat that passed away. She was 24 yrs old,yep, she was 24 years old. His other playmate is across the street, a retired K-9 officer,German Shepherd and a Frenchie.

@@b.2221cane corso can be pretty chill whereas the presa for example is going to be a much more of a handful to live with. We’ve got a Rottweiler and baby on the way so we’ve got his old crate back out for when babies on the ground definitely not going to be shoving the baby in his face and forcing them to interact we’ll take it slow slow get him used to co existing with a new family member.

Unfortunately in Edmonton, Alberta, 2 Cane Corso's killed a 12 yr old boy. Very sad, haven't heard much about the owner. Poor kid and poor dogs

I really liked the black Cane Corso. That would be an awesome dog to share my life with someday. I currently have a Bloodhound/Rottweiler mix, a Doberman Pinscher, a champagne colored German Shepherd and big black German Shepherd mixed with Lab, Husky and Malamute. He's the biggest pansy too. lol The Rottie hound is also the sweetest boy and loves everyone. The other two are females and they're the ones strangers should be careful of! Always on alert but friendly with nice people after introduced. Love them! Thank you for the fun video. :)

Don't get me wrong, standard poodles from the right lines can be great pets and good protection dogs, but very few people are going to be intimidated by a poodle. Other than their size they lack any real intimidating characteristics.

I'm happy to take the Black Cane Corso, Black Presa Canario, Borz Hound or Black Wolfdog. Sorry for the Malinois but too much physical and mental energy. For me a dog weighs at least 45kg and has to be protective by nature, then all that's left to do is a minimum of education and a lot of love. I really love your videos, which are always accurate and full of kindness towards dogs and wolves.

It's surprising that the Thai ridgeback that Anneka mentioned awhile back doesn't come in black. It would've been perfect. It has a very unsettling appearance with it's limited coat with slight wrinkles. And then there is the late Ghengis Khan. Documented as a black wolf that seemed to be the smartest wolf that ever lived.

Maybe you missed Dogue de Bordeaux... but they aren´t black... but they are an hellish of a dog

Guess what my nightmare will be about tonight lol. Unfortunately one of these breeds killed a child a few weeks ago in Canada. I have a big black Panther like st Bernard Newfoundland cross, at 1 year she is 90 pounds, she became aggressive to the kids and I made sure the kids spent more time with her, feed her, treat her, this made her more bonded to the kids. They wrestle and she knows to play nice, now when I wrestle with her I bleed lol. Love black dogs.
