I think I have seen this story on the Dodo before...but you can never get enough of the pictures of this beautiful friendship.
I had the opposite. My siamese cat Sinbad helped raise a litter of 11 labrador puppies. He just saw himself as dad and was super patient with them and very caring, even when being trampled by them as they were super happy to see him every morning!

😊❤ Had a dog that treated 2 kittens we got as her babies. She was fixed before she had any of her own and had strong maternal instincts and a very friendly, sweet personality. Getting her own babies was a dream come true and they loved her right back. Seeing cross species animal relationships always brings back those memories.
My pitbull lived to be 16 and spent every year absolutely adoring cats!

I rescued a 7 month old cat when I had a Labrador at home already. Wasn’t sure how it would go but the cat put the dog in her place and they were great friends after that. If the Lab got too boisterous the cat would just raise a front paw in the air and the dog would back away. They loved to lay outside in the sun on a winters morning snuggled up together.
It’s cute and funny… I had a dog that got along with a cat we had growing up too

My dogs & cats hv always gotten along & bn friends. Caution- u shdn't let ur cats out unattended or w/out a leash on a walk bc it's dangerous outside (as well cats kill birds & lizards).
