I definitely get why people say that Superstar didn't fit the album imean its basically a pop song on a metal album lol. But I personally really liked the change and I think they did that on purpose to kinda shock the listener. And even though it's a Poppy type song about wanting to be famous, I really like how the lyrics were more talking about the darker side of being famous almost like they're mocking those who want to be a superstar but their life is horrible because of it. And I love that immediately after this 3 minute pop song we get dancing with the Dead probably crown the empire's heaviest song. So again the band just showing how diverse their music can be. But again that's just what I thought.

Labrynith is such a strong song, most bands undervalue the last song of the album.

Labyrinth is my favorite song and Black Sheep has the best chorus

Such a good album.

I feel like they fell off when Escamilla left the band. Loved their sound in the first few releases. In the last 9 years after The Resistance I think there's a total of 3 songs I liked. Unfortunate but it is what it is.

SOMEBODY GET HIM TO LISTEN TO EMPIRE:ANDROMEDA!!!!! He and everyone else needs to listen to that almost forgotten gem. It’s one of the best EPs to ever come out.

The intro to Someone Else reminds me so much of Secret & Whisper.

you got to listen to the fallout and then The resistance…its a two part story….those 2 albums shit on this new one, and the screamer from those albums was a monster

I can agree with that but Dancing With The Dead is definitely up there with their old stuff. The new screamer isn't as good but he grew on me

Really cool metalcore/post-hardcore album, easily a 7/10 but not a very great Crown album imo. I think I speak for many of the older fans when I say that there's a certain concept, narrative and theatrical quality that was present throughout The Fallout/The Resistance that's been glaringly missing since old unclean vocalist Dave Escamilla left the band. They had a different and slightly more experimental approach compared to other Sturgis-core contemporaries that boringly settled into the habit of retreading themes and sounding samey. Highly advise visiting the older albums if you have a chance.

Modified is my favorite by far

I love paranoid and the singles otherwise it’s an average album.

I would give this album a 7/10, its a good album but some songs like superstar wasnt my thing which isnt bad thing at all. Its just not my type of music
