That was a good reminder about what could happen if all the buttons get pressed. I never would have thought of that. Using the lock button is an easy way to avoid an accident. And I love how you stress using the shock as a last resort. You can see that Doug understands so well, just the collar alone is enough to remind him to stay calm.

Yeah it only took him about 2 shocks to realize what these collars are all about :( but thankfully he does really well wearing them and snaps out of his disobedience very quickly with beep and vibrate!!

Aloha David - I just got this collar to train my pup, Lucy, to stop harassing the cats. I've been hesitant to use it but the cats are too stressed out from her so on it goes today. Thanks for the tips and I'll post more once I have some time in.

Got it paired but the shock doesn’t do a thing. It has a lock icon when I press the shock button but it’s not on lock.

So is your pet not responding to it? It might be defective if you have the lock off and intensity turned up and your pet isnt responding or you can't feel shock. Both you and your dog will know when it is working!

I just got this the beep works also the vibrate works but the shock switch won’t turn off and on so the shock doesn’t work. My dog ran off last night and the neighbors helped me track him down. Won’t be trusting this collar.

If your RICHDOG Rechargeable Dog Shock Collar won't turn on, try charging it fully and ensure that it's properly connected to the charging cable. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer for troubleshooting or a possible replacement. cnl

I just have one that just vibrates and beeps.

turn up shock all the way and then try it on the bulb, make sure lock is not on.
