Disagree with you Larry. One of the best training videos I’ve seen! Wish I’d known about you years ago but better late then never. Thank you!!!

This is really great stuff. No one talks about the simple things that make big changes. Seeing the dog change in the video is awesome.

Amazing video. Had to put on headphones because my dogs were distressed by the pup's whining, lol

Your vidoes are gold! I come back to them time and time again. I watched your videos before I got my puppy a year and a half ago, but I've still made a lot of mistakes. After watching and re-watching, I have been learning true patience with my dog and that there is truly no shortcut which is what 99.9% of dog trainers and b&t programs seem to promote. Just wanted to say thanks for being an inspiration!

Great stuff! Please continue to post videos on this dog. I'm working with a German Short-haired Pointer and he is over the top out of his mind pup. This let's me know that I'm on the right track! Thank you so much!

16:50 - I think at this point, that dog already would not just take off without any distractions - focused on you, the handler how it should be. Perfect.

Find some one reputable in your area. One should not learn protection work via videos.

@@shannondavidson1886 thank you for your advice. I actually trained all of my dogs over more than 30 years. But there is always new things to learn. And that is what I'd like to know. How does Larry works on this, because I respect his work very much, and much of his point of view, and techniques, I haven't seen in other trainers in my country. Anyway, you just can't go into protection without another trainer, if you are training your own dog.

Hi Larry, great videos, always a fan. In this situation, the dog is all over the place, how would you combat that? Do you just keep him next to you and stay nothing? Is that what you do or is it something else you do to stop him from being all over the place? Be great to know as there are many dogs that are all over the place

Just to confirm i got it: u wanted the jumps into u bc it shoes the dog is relaxed and bonding w you? Safe to assume if he was a jumpy confident out of control pup who was engaging u with jumps right out of the cage - this would be a different video and your goals would be calm following, not jumping? Just checking, tx.

🤣😂don’t you know wearing sandals like that are deadly when walking working w dogs? They will step on the backs and take you out! 🤣🤣 training (educating) the owner/human is the greatest part of this work for sure!!!!😉
