Duke absolutely adores him. He looks at his owner like it's his favourite superhero.

So happy for Duke and his daddy! Nothing is more satisfying that giving a a furever home to a pup in need, and getting a BFF in the process. Win/Win.

I can imagine the relief of the former owner, knowing his dog is happy in a loving home.

My brother adopted a pittie from an elderly lady who could no longer care for her. She was a sweet thing. My elderly mom absolutely adored her. She recently passed away after having been 5 years with my brother. She developed pancreatitis and they did everything they could for her. They were absolutely heartbroken when she passed.

Pit bulls are some of the friendliest dogs I know. Duke represents them well.

His personality seems very much like my Cane Corso Milo... what a good boy...

I volunteer at our local shelter where we have two “Dukes.” They are big, beefy goofballs, but are constantly overlooked, rebuffed and shunned by potential adopters because of the misconceptions surrounding their breed.I am so thankful for the likes of this young man whose heart was able to see beyond the damning stereotyping of these beautiful “house hippos.” Wishing them many happy, joy filled adventures and years together!❤️🐾🐾❤️

My little rescue Chi spazzes out when we get near my sister's (just 15 minutes away) We refer to their backyard as his park. He uses the 3 stuffed chairs and hassocks in the front room as his personal parcour! Even 3 years after my Mom's passing, when we're near her street he is slightly confused as to why we're not turning. "Wait! Here, right here." I feel like I can hear him thinking as he looks out the window and then at me. Dogs are so amazing to live with. So glad you opened your home to a dog that can be hard to place. 🥰
