    @julieburetz6938 Basically they breed dogs for their puppies to sell. The dogs are just “Breeding Machines” They aren’t played with, given love and attention, they are not taken on walks, lay on the couch with their owners, eat with the family etc etc. For a Human Equivalency. You are a Female woman with good “Breeding Genes” You are kept in a “Jail Cell” A Male with good “Breeding Genes” is brought into your cell to Impregnate you, afterwards you are locked back up in your cell until you give birth, you get 2-3 months with the baby and then the baby is taken away from you and it is adopted by some other family. Then Another man (or same man) is brought into your cell to impregnate you again. Rinse and repeat, and that is your existence. Charlie Brown was the Male used to impregnate the female dogs. (This is my theory with Charlie Brown).

    My husband and I are retired and decided to get a rescue Lab. Her name is Charlotte and when I watched this video, it was the identical story we went through. Charlotte came out of her shell in about about three weeks and since she doesn’t have a tail to wag she has this awesome grin. Each day gets better for her and she is the best dog we have ever had. 😀

We should not get to decide when an animal should be killed. We should not hold that power.

    I think the fear and pain and sadness that dogs have when abandoned, mistreated and left for dead is if not less, at least the same fear and pain and sadness that other animals in captivity feel. Those animals would have seen their own dear ones slaughtered in front of them. Nothing that they can do. Imagine how scared they would be. Imagine the trauma caused to them? All I'm saying is that people can't act one way to one kind of animal and neglect the life of all the other animals right? Especially, the only reason being that they are tasty??? Isn't that hypocrisy and pure selfishness? How can a person be so caring towards the welfare of dogs and turn the other way when a lot worse is happening to other animals, and that too, just because all these suffering animals end up in that person's stomach. That is utter selfishness and hypocrisy. A person cannot support this cause without acknowledging that slaughtering of all kinds of animals is wrong. That's just hypocrisy if they don't agree with the latter. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

    @@ap001209 well some people think that dogs taste good. They even had a dog festival dedicated to dog meat. There are obviously people who think that dogs taste really good too. So is it fine to kill dogs and consume them?? Why was this event so frowned upon? Just because the taste of those people wasn't the same as the taste of the majority? My point being that the society can't be against dog cruelty without being against all animal cruelty, including the ones that end up in our stomachs. Think of this, just because it tastes good, is the cruelty and torture and mass slaughtering of animals justified?

    I agree that the puppy mills are inhumane. But people forget that factory farming is brutal and cruel. Sows are forced to breed litter after litter, they are kept in cages so tiny they can't turn around in, and workers are often abusive. Factory farming is brutal and cruel. Chickens are kept literally stacked in cages, thick with feces and never see the outside. Even so called "free range" chickens are kept in such small enclosures their beaks are cut off so they don't cause damage when they inevitably attack each other. Cows, pigs, chickens all have the same capacity for love and emotion that dogs and cats are capable of. I hope this at least helps you to cut back on your consumption of animal products.

    When we lost our lab of 11 yrs to cancer it was devastating. Our children were 4 and 2 when we brought him home. They were shattered and we were heartbroken. We swore to never have another dog as the pain was something we didn't think we could bear again. About 3 mos in our boys came to us and told us that our house didn't feel like home anymore. We had noticed also, it was quiet and kinda cold feeling. What I hadn't told them was I had been having dreams where I had a snow white/cream Lab named Gus. I was literally dreaming of having this new dog every night. A week later we found a litter about an hour from our house. When we arrived there was a snow white puppy left and we were extatic. The only catch was this little guy was unseperable from his brother. They did everything together and were joined at the hip. We did some financial wrangling and somehow came home with not 1 but 2 lab puppies. It's a little crazy at home now with Gus and Gibson (Gibby) but man it feels wonderful to have our house full and warm and feeling like home again. Gus and Gibby's Labrador adventures!

He was so smart, so funny and very loving. He never quit talking, never barked. Didn't help any when my husband and I antaganized him to be a nut. We loved him so much. Anger is not a positive emotion and it doesn't drive positive behaviours. I want people to care and I want people to take practical positive steps (as we both have done) but getting angry will not achieve anything good. Also, my dog hates it when anyone gets angry. She disapproves of anger just like I do but unlike me, she never gets angry. She is a good example to me (in this respect at least).

  • @5ammy13

    @5ammy13

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Judy0007 for once in our conversations, let me see you bring out a valid point, heck, any point at all, instead of going on a name calling spree without any real basis to it? No, you just act like a child. Every comment is just name calling and accusations instead of telling me why? Without telling me why exactly my comment was wrong, your comments are just temper tantrums and you lashing out because you know I'm right. You see how that makes you look? Every comment of yours looks like an excuse that you came up with because you don't have any thing to say to defend your view of things. I get the going-down fighting, but mate, name calling is not fighting. Every comment just shows how desperately you are clinging on to what you think is right without having any idea of why. You're grasping at straws and coming up empty. Every comment just shows how immature you are without any comprehension of the real world and why you stand for your views. Come one mate, why don't you show everyone why you think I'm wrong? Why what I said was wrong? Instead of just name calling. Name calling and cussing is easy mate. I can call you whole lot of things without any real knowledge of who you really are, just like the way you're doing now. But coming up with valid arguments is harder, and it's either because your small mind can't comprehend or come up with any sane arguments, or it's because you're hurt by my comment, realizing how selfish, heartless and soulless you really are. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but your words will never harm me.
