We have a 12 year old, King Charles cavalier spaniel called Holly. When she wags her tail, her back end goes too so we have called it ‘shaky bum’ time since she was little. Love your little girl. She is delightful. Xxx

I sometimes wonder how my dog's jaw doesn't hurt. She has her little blue tyre in her mouth 24/7. Sleeps with it, wees with it. Only takes it out to eat, which means gobble down her food in seconds and then frantically pick the tyre up again

We inherited a dog at 9 years old when my mother-in-law passed away, Molly a Patterdale Terrier, who sadly we lost in Nov but she lived to nearly 15 years. She was a real character and would eat everything - even a bag of rat poison once & survived (after a horrendous emergency vets trip). Bonnie is beautiful and I would love a Cocker Spaniel in the future x

Oh yeah our two spaniels (one cocker, one sprocker) are the same. They eat absolutely everything from dog food and human food to bin contents and other dog's poo to nappy cream and tissues...

My Gran used to have a rescue dog, a cocker spaniel and called Bonnie as well!! :) Aww she's lovely and so calm. You guys look so happy and content with her! X

Bonnie is the most beautiful dog and it’s easy to see the joy she brings to both of your lives. I believe she has enriched your lives and vice versa. I don’t think I have ever seen you look as happy as you do now, you glow with it. 💕

I’ve got a yellow Labrador, she’s very small for her age and very puppy like still so people think she’s a puppy too and are surprised when I say she’s nearly 8! My dog loves carrots, may be a treat option for Bonnie if she likes them! But my dog loves a ball, her favourite game is to sit at the top of the stairs with her ball and roll it down, you have to then throw it back up and she catches it and then repeats.... for hours on end. She never gets bored... me on the other hand 😂. Loved the video, you can see how happy she makes you both ❤️ dogs are amazing! xx

Bonnie is so gorgwous!! I have a ritered racing greyhound! Recently adopted him and it's been the best 3 months ever! Love my gentle giant who loves to zoom through the house and do ballerina spins when he is happy!

Unfortunately my family dog passed away last year, and I miss him and his little quirks so much! However I'm living with my boyfriend at the moment and his family dog is the funniest little thing. He's a King Charles Cavalier. He's quite a chubby dog so when he gets excited (which is a lot) he wags his tail and all of his fluff and chub wiggles with him. And also any time I get the lead out to take him for a walk, he jumps up and spins and as soon as the lead is clipped into his harness, he takes it in his mouth and starts walking me towards the door! It's so funny and cute. He's definitely been a light in the dark during these weird times and I'm very grateful for him xx

I have a husky called Kodi. She’s 6 and a half. We used to have another dog who was a lot older and when he died Kodi was quite sad for a while. She’s a very mellow husky, but has moments of craziness. Walks are her favourite, especially if it includes jumping into a river. She also has a crazy ten minutes everyday where she runs loops of the room / house / her bed. My granddad comes to visit every Sunday and she gets so excited because he always brings her a treat. And she knows exactly where he stores the treats in his car, so she makes sure when he leaves that he gives her another one. She’s also the quietest dog I’ve ever met. She never barks or bowls unless you accidentally scare her or she’s sleeping and she lets out tiny noises and you can see her little feet running in her sleep. She’s a wonderful doggo 🥰

What an absolute sweetheart, she could not have gone to a more loving home, and you both are in complete joy at having her, you can clearly see how content she is, wish I could give her a hug she is obviously a dog that enjoys lots of cuddles, just the video we need on this gloomy rainy day xxx

From the minute I heard her name I pictured Bonnie from Toy Story and that's the voice I imagine she would have 😃 My dog of 21 years passed over the Rainbow Bridge, she was such a wonderful pet, my children grew up with her and we all miss her dearly ❤ She was part border collie and part golden retriever. We called her the food theif. She was always snatching food if you looked away 😛. One time we were having a BBQ and my father went to get BBQ sauce for his filet mignon and when he came back to the table it was gone and we all died laughing when we saw Maya trying to slink out of the room with an entire filet in her mouth. She used to love to go for long walks and meet all the people we ran into. The last couple of years of her life she would was starting to sit down in the middle of our walks and be like "Nope, not moving, done walking" and I had to carry her home. We started to take her for her "walks" in a wagon so she could get out and see everyone. She was a very social and loved by everyone she met.Dogs bring so much joy into life and unlike children they don't talk back to you 😂😂

I have a black working cocker spaniel called Bonnie she’s one years old and the first thing in the morning tail and bum wiggle is adorable. She also loves to scatter her toys around the room and parade them with the bum wiggle to us on occasion. 🐾

Bonnie is so lovely. We actually adopted our dog just before his 9th Birthday and unfortunately he had to be put to sleep this past week just before his 11th birthday. Even though we didn't get as much time as we should have, we are so happy that we rescued him. I hope that you have many happy years with Bonnie x

I have a 22 week old cavalier King Charles spaniel called Lottie-Beau. We’ve had her since she was 8 weeks and it just feels like a lifetime, I can’t remember life without her 💓🐾 so laid back and so funny but also has the most crazy outbursts of energy that turn into love and affection. We do the what would he voice be like but then when she licks us she makes noises so I suppose we no her voice and it’s just adorable to see the growth and confidence of her. It’s been amazing meeting new people too while out on walks it’s given me a new confidence and I can’t thank my little Lottie enough for that 🐾💓💓💓

I can totally relate to everything you both chat about in this vlog. Me and my husband got our first dog together back at start of march. A miniature dachshund named Woody. He's only 6 months old just now so learning new things about him everyday. He is such a character, so stubborn and his cute little run when he picks up a toy and takes it away to a corner to play with - so cute! Bonnie is lovely 😍 💕

Bonnie is absolutely gorgeous! 😍 I completely know where you’re coming from with the constant thinking about them, they are literally your fur babies and you will do anything and everything for them! You’ll never want a house without a dog after having one: even when they’re not making any noise or doing anything they have this atmosphere around them, almost like an invisible hug. I remember once seeing a picture of a sad looking dog and a door, it said underneath about dogs not understanding “see you soon, I won’t be long”, all they know is that you’re gone. It made me never want to leave my dog alone! One idea to get Bonnie used to water is if you have a hosepipe with a gun fitted at the end, you can squirt it in short bursts in different directions and most dogs I’ve known love chasing after it. It gets them used to associating water with play and fun. Just an idea! Keep these brilliant vlogs and sit downs coming Brogan, I’m loving them! You’ve quickly become my fave vlogger x

Great update on Bonnie's first month with you and Benji. She really does have cute characteristics such as climbing up on you and Benji for cuddles and she is also cute and gorgeous in looks. You looking after Lacey for 5 weeks 2 years ago was good practice for you rehoming Bonnie. I don't have a dog because pets are not allowed in my flat, but as I have mentioned in my comments on some of your other videos, Instagram posts and Tweets, my parents had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her name was Jasmine and she was a Blenheim (white with brown ears and markings - I shared a photo of her with you on Twitter once). My parents had her for 3 years from when she was a puppy in 2008 until she was nearly 4 years old in 2011 when they returned her to her breeder for personal reasons. Jasmine was a bit of a live wire, but she was still cute and she also had quite a lot of toys including a vinyl stuffed bone I made for her at a part-time needlecraft class I used to attend. Whenever I stayed at my parents' house when they had Jasmine, I looked after her when they were at work. The video of Bonnie squealing at the ducks on your Instagram reminds me of two moments in my life. The first was when I was a child long before my parents had Jasmine. I was at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, with my family and a dog kept barking at a swan or a goose. The swan or goose then kept hissing at the dog. The other was when my mum and I were in the living room and Jasmine was on the balcony. Jasmine saw a squirrel on the balcony and she barked at it. She then made squealing sounds that were similar to those Bonnie made at the ducks. My mum was surprised and amused with the sounds Jasmine made.

Oh god the perfect video. Dogs are the greatest blessing we as humans have been given. They give nothing but love, no matter what. They bring so much joy and IMO just complete a home/family. Oh Brogan, I can’t believe that I have not seen this video. I thought I had seen them all and here I am watching this nearly 3yrs later. I will admit to having a few tears because Bonnie does everything my lovely boy did. He would take himself off to bed at 9pm on the dot, showed us unconditional love, every single day and gave us so much joy. I miss him still, so, so much. I did laugh about the ‘poo’ conversations! All part of being a dog owner! My boy loved hedgehogs. He used to bring them in and really gently place them on the floor. I found out, through the process of elimination, that the prickles make dogs sick. Bizarre but absolutely true. Anyway, love you 3 so much but Bonnie has my heart! Please give her a huge cuddle from me and the same to you and Benji. Going to go and blow my nose now🥺

I used to have a Black Labrador. I got him when I was about 10 years old so I had him for quite a chunk of my life. He loved his routine. He would always walk slower on the lead when I was walking him but if somebody else took him he would drag them down the street! He loved tennis balls! It was always a challenge getting him back when I let him off the lead at the park, he didn’t want to listen to me! He was such a friendly dog! He always knew when it was 8pm and that was treat time! He would sit in front of my mum and he would do some tricks we had taught him (sit, paw, kisses, lie down etc), I miss him very much! He was my best friend😊🐾 Bonnie is so cute! Give her a hug from me!🥰🐾 Hope you and Benji enjoy the rest of your week!😊💕

We've had our puppy Biscuit (miniature labradoodle) for two weeks now and she's just adorable. She's been scoffing her food back and has made herself poorly so we've had to buy her a special dish and put her on chicken and rice to settle her tummy, I've been like a worried mother all weekend!! She's much more herself today though and was "helping" me out with the washing by running around the garden with dirty socks! Bonnie seems such a sweetie, I'm so happy she's found a loving forever home 🏡💕🐕

My family are on the waiting list for a dog and we can’t wait for when we finally have our own. It will be worth the wait, I have wanted one since I was really young and I am now 25.

I ummmed and arrrr'd whether to watch this we lost our working field spaniel in march, Barney was 8 he was the absolute love of my life and Bonnie is so like him same with the toys the water everything this brought tears to my eyes whole way thru but I'm so glad you are experiencing what we had, give her all the cuddles ! And an extra big one from me 😘

We have a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel called Leo. He is totally nuts and loves to bark at every bird and chase every leaf that blows in the wind, but at the end of every day he’ll snuggle up with me and is just the most loving little boy I could have ever wished for. He is my ray of sunshine ☀️ no matter what happens in my day, I come home and he makes me happy and forget all the bad things. He is my little baby boy and I love him so so much 💙

We are going to pick up put new black cocker spaniel on sunday!!! So so excited, we are calling him Jasper. Absolutely love watching your Bonnie vlogs ❤.

We have a chihuahua called Louie and he is treat like a king. He's seven years old and came to live with us just over 2 years ago. He had lived with 4 other families before us 😢. He really is the sweetest little thing.

What a lovely video guys! You can clearly see how much she has grown to adore you both as much as you do her. Not surprised the Kong toy is a fave, at the previous vets I worked at, dogs would pick them off the shelves themselves, then the owners would be like “ok ok, you can have a new toy!” So cute!

She's so cute! Had a Cocker Spaniel that was with us for 15 1/2 years ! They are the best ! Regarding the water, mine used to love it up to a certain age! When he got older he couldn't stand it, same no walks during the rain or very early in the morning when it was too cold! They are soo cute! Can't wait to get another doggo one day :) x

LOVED hearing about and seeing Bonnie. She is so calm and sweet. You got a lovely dog and I'm so happy for you both. Who rescued who? My dog comes in to the bathroom every time unless I close the door. I guess dogs feel like "you watch me do my business and I'm going to watch you do yours." My Suzy takes her toys out of her basket and leaves them all over the living room or piles some in her bed. It's called "possession." She sleeps in our bed and always brings a toy with her. One ended up in one of our bathrooms! Guess she wanted to let us know she was there. It's very obvious that you love her dearly.

We have 3 dogs, couldn’t imagine not having them now 😍 they all have their own personalities and I love the welcomes home we get when we’ve been at work. Bella our oldest will grunt to get attention for fuss lol Thor the middle one is like a grumpy old man lol and Loki is the puppy soft and cuddly 🥰 xx

I don't think Bonnie could get any better parents you guys are the BEST doggo parents! :) super loving and caring. My partner and I cannot wait to get a dog but have to wait till we move maybe next year again for a proper garden. xxx

how is it doing?

This was so cute! Look how proud you are as doggy parents :) She has already brought you so much joy, you both look so happy. I watched this with a smile from ear to ear from beginning to end :) My doggy is almost 14 years old. He is a Chihuahua(well, not 100% but I'll take it :p). I did buy him as a pup, but actually also saved him from a puppy mill. He was put in a big plastic fish tank(where garden centers put the Koi fish etc. in.) with Jack Russel puppies and they were constantly biting him and really bullying him. :( I immediately fell in love and I knew it was a bit of a risk because you never know what diseases they might carry because of the whole bread breeder thing. But he turned out fine, he does have some little issues here and there but nothing concerning. he is starting to go blind now slowly and his hearing and smell aren't the best anymore either. He's sleeping a lot and if he's awake, he's almost glued to my leg. He loves to be picked up but only by me. :) He also hates squeeky toys and loooovvvveeesss plushies :) His name is Mylo (you pronounce it like Meeko, so Meelow basically :p). I always wanted pets, when I was little, for my 8th birthday my parents had reserved a sausage dog, but they cancelled it because we had the chance to go on a 3 week holiday to America to see my mum's best friend from college. So of course I was angry that they cancelled the dog :p But a few years later, we went to a shelter and there was this dog, black and tan, they only found her the day before so we had to wait 2 weeks I think so the owner could still come and claim her back. But nobody ever showed up so she came to live with us. She was a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Dachshund. She was crazy though haha :p One day, I was eating an icecream and I walked into the kitchen, she walked next to me, looking at me and my ice cream and she bang on walked into the door, giving herself a concussion. Silly girl. :p She loved being outside. She loved sunbathing but she could also go and lay down in the snow, flat on her belly, paws stretched out. haha :) She turned 16 but she got sick so we had to let her go sadly, when I was 6 months pregnant. The shelter had given her the name Weeny. (right? :p) But she did not listen to that at all. So the first day at home, we were just randomly calling out names to see if she would respond. In the background we had Sister Act on the TV. So... suddenly I shouted: WHOOPI! And she came running, tail wagging and sat in front of me and giving me paws... so yeah that was obviously her name haha :) I miss her. We also rescued a Scottish collie once from an elderly couple who couldn't handle him and they wanted to put him down if they couldn't rehome him... so we took him in but we soon realized why they wanted to get rid of him... he like ate all my toys and he was so misbehaving... even dog school didn't work for him. Thankfully friends of my parents took him over from us and he lived a happy life there with 2 other dogs and I think that was the problem, he just was bored being alone.

We adopted our greyhound Artie in the beginning of December last year. Before then he was first raced legally, then illegally. He'd never been in a house before he came to us and he has settled so wonderfully! He takes the stairs like a champ (albeit at 100 miles per hour) and he loves the sofa. He is the absolute ideal dog for us, and we think greyhounds are our ideal breed as well. Truly the best of both world in terms of rescuing a very deserving dog, and still getting a (most likely) well bred purebred dog. Also they are just so weird and so wonderful.

I love dogs so much & this is such a lovely video. I have a dog who is about 7 years old & I love taking her out on dog walks & she love toys too. My dog loves having the attention too. My dog loves squeaky toys. My dog is a cockapoo dog. My dog has really bad separation anxiety and it’s sad like even if you leave her for 5 minutes she goes crazy. Bonnie is just adorable. 😀🐶

We have a Border Collie and I swear he can tell the time. He’s 13 and we usually take him out for a final toilet around 10pm. No matter what’s going on he’ll get up and just start walking around us and looking at the door always around that time as if to say “hay, it’s 10pm, toilet time”. Your dog is so sweet. X

i relate so much to the poop talk 😂 you guys are such great doggie parents - love to see it! My fur baby is an Italian spinone named Remington 🥰

I have a 2 and 1/2 year old little boy called milo he’s a beagle and he’s so naughty but still wouldn’t change him for the world and I know what you mean about the characteristic milo has just a personality and I do also pretend he talks to me in a weird voice lol thought that was only me 😑🤣 you guys seems so happy and bonnie is blessed to have parents like you I love that you guys adopted !! ❤️❤️❤️

So cute! Can relate to the poop chat! We’ve recently bought our house and renovated it top to bottom and decided it was time for a little puppy... now all we seem to discuss are his poops...that backpack with all the dog’s things in is such a great idea, I don’t know why I haven’t thought about it before! Bonnie is adorable! X

Hi laughed out loud when you mentioned poop can totally relate we got our first dog 3 years ago think we worry over Frank the mini sausage more than our 2 grown up children’s you’re right it’s all about interperating their needs more difficult than humans at first enjoy her x

Bonnie is SO cute!! I also have a cocker spaniel named Betty! She’s 8 turning 9 in October! Shes the sleepiest cocker spaniel ever😂 Bettys small for her age too so always get the “cute pup” comment!😂 She has a small heart murmur bless her so she’s loving a cuddle lately💛x

This is just so wholesome 😭 happy for you guys! My favorite thing about our dog Sookie is her many different tail wags. There's a playful one, mischievous one, a content one, and (my personal favorite) helicopter tail which is when she gets super excited to see people and her tail starts twirling like a helicopter 🤣

We have a spaniel called Nelson and he is the most ungraceful swimmer ever. My collie glides along and Nelson is pretty much doing front crawl with water flying everywhere!

My chihuahua Dave is 2 years old now, when we walk through the door after being out he has to have a toy in his mouth before he can come and say hello so he will run around the house looking for a toy before jumping on the sofa and rolling onto his back with the toy in his mouth for belly rubs haha!!

I have a 6 year old golden cocker spaniel and she is literally like a therapy dog that was never trained for that. When im sick or upset she puts her paw on my arm and licks away my tears. She loves to cuddle and thinks shes a human more than a dog actually haha i was at the lowest point in my life mentally when we found Bailey but i truly believe she found me because she saved me. I love watching your videos as she acts so much like Bailey and theres wee things that is only a spaniel thing which is adorable! Yous have been the best dog parents and she is so so lucky to have found a family like you both to love and care for her like you do 🥰

Ohhh, that is the sweetest story. Someone asked me, "who saved who?" and I honestly think Bonnie has changed me as a person. I'm happier. More content. Don't sweat the small stuff as much. Thank you for your kindness and support, it means the world to us! Sending Bailey a big cuddle from us! x

Watching this at 5am because I can’t sleep because we’re Skyping the dog we’re going to adopt today!

Just catching up on this vlog. We have one dog. A cavalier king charles spaniel. He is going to be 9 this year. Everything you say is so true, especially the poo talk 😂😂.. he hates the rain too.. He also gets toys out of his box then just go and lie down. Maybe Its a spaniel thing 😂😂.. when we walk him. If he doesnt want to go a certain way, he will just lie down. Its so funny to watch 😂😂. They are part of the family, and couldnt imagine our lives without him 😊.

Our Working cocker (sadly no longer with us) was a failed gun dog, failed police sniffer dog...he just wanted to be loved... all the time so wouldn’t do the job he was trained for! He was absolutely beautiful and my little sidekick when I was at the end of my pregnancy, he took guard of me and wherever I was he was! Enjoy your little pal!
