This is our dog, Demetri, an Australian Shepherd Mix and his "playmate" the Rooster. They are rescues. Demetri was adopted from a local animal shelter . The chickens somehow managed to escape from a commercial chicken truck and were standing, in the rain, along the highway when we found them. Demetri and the Rooster like to tease each other! They don't inflict any injuries during their "battles".
