I have a deaf dog that does the same exact thing. Also, he is the absolute coolest and happiest dog I have ever known. We have 5 dogs and he is honestly my favorite, even though he is the biggest pain in the butt dog I have ever owned. I wouldn't trade him for any other dog

Arbor is a dancer. He pirouettes his way through life. The perfect mom for him, found him and is giving him the joyous life he deserves, and like most good people his mom loves him and the life that she, as a future vet, can give him. I am sure she watches every circle with gratitude.

I'm grateful for existence of people like you.

He has something in common with Zoolander, he's not an "ambiturner".

Arbor is such a beautiful dog.

My dog can only make left hand turns. He also has degenerative myelopathy. Now he's lost his vision and hearing due to seizures, he also has dementia. But he still loves to eat, no pee/poo accidents and enjoys his cuddles and has recently become fiercely in love with his fur sister as his comfort bestie. before he kinda treated her like she was invisible until she actually became invisible to him. He sometimes snaps at me :( when I try to wash his face or give meds. But he means the world to me.

Dogs always manage to live their lives to the absolute fullest even if they experienced all the adversities.

you did the right thing by giving him that chance and it is just as rewarding for you as well as it is for him.

I adopted a stray kitten, who, after a few years he suddenly had a head tilt and acted like he couldn't see. We were terrified. Took him to the emergency vet since it was Sunday. They really couldn't determine at that point what was going on, but it was a sudden neuro deficit. Infection? Stroke ? He couldn't jump up on furniture. The he next day, he only walked in small circles, then a little bigger circles. He had seizures. Took him to a neurologist and did a full workup. I had pet insurance, thank God. They did spinal tap, MRI, blood work, and cultures. All cultures were negative. But the MRI scan showed tiny holes in the skull consistent with a parasite. Over time, he improved , and even motor skills improved. We were blessed to have him 4 more years. Our little orange cat we named Rusty. ❤❤❤❤❤❤🐈🐈🐈🐈

@Johnny-rj9on Yes ! $100 deductible and covers 80%. Depending on their age, there is a maximum of up to $5000 coverage. Some cover health and wellness like vaccines, spay neuter, routine blood work, and dental cleaning. I pay for the care and then submit for reimbursement.

Ahh...just a thought...how about an Arbor 500 and change the drive around the track from constantly left to going right. This could be a fund raiser for canine neurology!

I love that every day is Arbor Day! :) I love him! Glad he was adopted by a vet! :) Good for her! Arbor is darling and since they accommodate him; his disability is much less. Disabilities are mostly disabilities when the world is out to get us! xoxo

Aww this makes me so happy! I had a rescue that developed a right turn only behaviour for the last year or so of his life. Regular vet visits of course. Just old age and standard neurological decline. Just the sweetest boy though.
