Let us take a moment to honor Grim's original mom!! The selfless love she has for Grim is so beautiful. We have all seen videos of severely malnourished and horrifically neglected dogs whose owners refuse to give them up because they " love" them!! Hats off to a woman whose actions speak louder than words!

Yes absolutely, Olivia kept Grims brother Fenris, and they each take care of both dogs whenever the others needs to travel, its a beautiful arrangement

actually not even close to the coldest regions, -30 is about the coldest for them.. here in Sask it regularly gets to below -40 and below -50 over night in the winter plus wind chill

And it's hard to wake up in the morning with no sunlight (to see beautiful sunrise) ... 24 hour's (24/7) dark (almost like a night everyday) in winter,spring,fall ...

To all the people that can’t believe she lives in “such a horrible, cold, environment!” It’s a beautiful place, and it looks like a wonderful life. People have different preferences and this is hers. Personally, I think it looks awesome! Plus some people live in places like this for work (ie: crabbing, fishing, research, etc.) My friend is a dentist and she lives in Nome, Alaska. She serves the community in Nome as the only dentist and also travels a couple times a year (by snowmobile, small airplanes, sled dogs, or all three) to help indigenous people with their dental needs. I believe she originally started up there for school but fell in love with the place, and eventually a man. Therefore she decided to stay. She now has a beautiful family, home, and life up there. She’s blissfully happy and fulfilled. ❤ To each their own! Let’s all be so fortunate to find our happy place! 🌍🫶

@@NMN_CP They know to attempt to scare the bear first by shooting next to it and using a flare… but if a polar bear is charging towards you at full speed there is no other option but to kill it before it kills you.. these are apex predators they have no natural predators and it is illegal to seek them out. ppl avoid encounters with them to begin with but they must be prepared if they don’t want to lose their life

You must not know a lot about polar bears. They are one of the most dangerous and aggressive predators on the planet, and one of the few animals who can and do hunt humans. If you lived up there, you’d carry a gun for them too.

Cold as it may be where they are in the N. Pole, this warms our hearts 💕. Bless up Grim & Cecelia 🙏🏽

This is the most beautiful and selfless Dodo video I have seen in a very long time. I have to say Grim's first mum, what a woman, she knew how beautiful a bond Grim and her neighbour and friend had and gifted Grim to her. Then the bed that just brought tears to my eyes, to see he had grown up with that bed is everything. Gotta love this special Dodo video. What a magical place they live🙏🏾❤️

I follow Cecilia’s channel on KZread. It does get hard living there during winter months with no sun light-she talks about that in her videos.

I didn’t think any creature thrives is -30 degrees. Grim certainty looks happy though so he’s in the perfect place. 🥰❄️

How wonderful to see Grim in the habitat he was bred to be in. He's the happiest dog! His tail wagged so hard in the store that his hips were literally being jerked side to side! And his bed!! He just wanted his baby bed! Too sweet. Wishing many happy years of love to Grim and Cecilia.

@@Sofia-Lala I know one got shot the week we camped there and did some searching after and it is on going killing. Seems the word threat is used loosely when the bear is 200 metres away even. This is not counting those that starve to death because they got forced to area without food resources. Appreciate you took time to reply no matter what

@@weatherstationlytovchenko4794 That's not what the video is about, so why mention it? I think there are rules that you have to bring a gun if you walk to far away from town. I remember a swedish vlog channel called Random Making Movies visiting there and they talked about it or even showed a sign, plus their tourist guide had a rifle with her. There are atleast 1 death every year if i remember correctly on Svalbard because of polar bears, since they like breaking into houses at night. Also since people already live there you can't just move away, they are established and have culture there. And since hunting them is illegal then im fine with them getting shot in self defence. Their population has actually increased slightly on Svalbard over the past 15 years.

Cecilia, you should write books about yourself and Grim. Would make an amazing bedtime story! ❤🐕

Having lived in areas where there's no sunlight for 4 months a year, usually by the 3rd month id get pretty down n depressed, it wasnt the weather or bcos of any wildlife in our area, simply speaking, it was not seeing the sun. I had no idea how dependant I was on seeing the bright sky, the world just didn't seem right. In conclusion, while we like to get angry at the sun whenever we're suffering through hard days, I'm telling you especially, dont have out with that crowd."
